My Every Hue

My Every Hue

Adeline nodded at him. “How about you?” he asked her. “Oh, uh…” she suddenly lost herself after getting distracted because of Thomas. She was still in the middle of looking at his colorless appearance. “Are you down to have a Korean breakfast with me?” he continued. They get to stare at each other before Adeline smiles and nods at him as a response. They toured the inside of the entire store looking for something to eat until Adeline found something she wanted. Upon reaching the counter, Adeline realized she bought a lot since she was holding a small basket to carry all the items she took.

Fallen From Grace [Married to the Mafia Novel]

Fallen From Grace [Married to the Mafia Novel]

For a moment, I let myself be happy with the fact that Bianca is alive, and well enough to risk sending me this letter. I may not know her reasons, but Bianca wants me to find these people on the list. She may not be in a position to find them, but she believes they’re important to look into, and I’m going to do just that. There’s a knock on the door, forcing me to gather myself and walk towards it. “Miss Jean? Hana sent me. She said you needed some tea...” “Adeline,” I whisper, eyes wide and staring. “You’re here. But--”

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

I glanced at Dylan and asked, "What happened to Adeline?" "Mr. David took her back. He won’t let her off easily." I nodded, feeling that it was only fair. Adeline needed a good place to go, and Grandpa’s place was the best destination for her. After dinner, I asked Atlas if I could accompany him to the bank. He nodded without refusing or mentioning anything about sending me back to Foswood. But before we could leave, unexpected guests arrived at the estate.

This story should be a one star but I know it won’t show if I don’t give it a 5 star rate that how good novel works. Chapter are too short and this story is dragging on forever. I don’t know why I am still reading it. There’s no hot passionate scenes or chapters i don’t know how you got promoted.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

The Alpha's Babysitter

The Alpha's Babysitter

she asked. Those five men in black looked at each other and then nodded. “The boss told us to make sure to aid you if you need anything,” One of them said, tapping the other one to ask him to bring the car. “Thank you,” Hazel said. Seconds have passed and the car is already in front of them. They all headed inside. Hazel took Adeline’s phone and tried to ask her the address of her new condo. Adeline came from a rich family. She wanted to be independent and live a simple life. That’s why even though her family has money to let her study in a prestigious university, she chose the school she was studying at right now.

The Making of a King

The Making of a King

I tightened my grip on Chloe's hand. Adeline grabs a rather greasy-looking prisoner at the beginning of the line and smiles before plunging the knife she is holding into the top of his head. Chloe gasps, and I cover my mouth so my scream of horror doesn't escape. The other prisoners in line begin to beg but the siblings ignore them. They act as if they can't even hear them begging for forgiveness.

The was a very enjoyable read. The story didn’t drag, didn’t go off in a thousand directions, didn’t try to introduce a million characters to drag the book out (like my 1st book on this app that’s still ongoing). This story makes me want to read all her stories. I highly recommend this book & author

Admission Hold: My Fate in Her Hands

Admission Hold: My Fate in Her Hands

"Wait. Where's your admission ticket?" "I'm keeping mine." With that, I brushed him off in frustration. However, he wouldn't let it go. "No. We all agreed that everyone's tickets go to Priscilla. Yours too." "Why should I?" I clutched my ticket tighter and pulled away from him. "If you guys want her to keep yours, fine. I'm not stopping you. I want to keep my own, so what's wrong with holding onto my own ticket?" The PE committee member, Gaston Hubbard, stepped forward and pinned me to the ground. "Unbelievable. Cassidy, can't you stop being so jealous?"

A Borrowed Sweater, A Broken Marriage

A Borrowed Sweater, A Broken Marriage

With that, I hung up before he could say more. Just then, a notification popped up, letting me know that Chloe had posted something new. The latest post was from half an hour ago, showing a photo of her, Jeremy, and Lily in front of a carousel at an amusement park. Jeremy was leaning intimately against Chloe while holding Lily in his arms. The caption read, "Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon." It seemed like Jeremy was doing just fine. Good for them. Let the three of them live happily ever after. … A week later, it was Eliza's death anniversary.

Your Borrowed Life Expires After New Year

Your Borrowed Life Expires After New Year

"For me? You did it for yourself! For your pathetic pride!" Their image of a loving mother and devoted son had completely shattered. Meanwhile, I'd arrived in Korway. I rented a small cabin overlooking the fjord. Every day I read, painted, took walks, or did nothing at all except stare at the flames in the fireplace. The man who'd taken my photo in Svalgard was a photographer I'd met during my travels. His name was Adrian Kane. He was gentle and dependable, with eyes that could find beauty in everything. When he heard my story, he didn't offer pity, only admiration.

The Borrowed Tomorrow

The Borrowed Tomorrow

Someone's spreading rumors about you online! I tapped the link, and a bold headline filled the screen: [Cold-Blooded Doctor Refuses to Save a Life, Killing Fiancée's First Love to Keep Their Wedding Fund for Himself] The thumbnail showed Jeannie with tears streaming down her face. I leaned back in my chair. "The show's finally starting." In the video, Jeannie was wearing an old T-shirt that looked faded from countless washes. Her hair was messy, and her face looked pale and exhausted. She stared into the camera, crying so hard that it seemed she could barely breathe.
