One could crave to know about something or someone without caring about said thing, so I tried to reassure myself.
"Thanks," I muttered to the chauffeur. "I will meet you back here in an hour."
I gave a curt nod to the man. Then I opened the door and darted outside, running from my own thoughts.

The boutique was large, containing several aisles and bustling, purposeful people, who seemed to know their way around here like the back of their hands.
Suddenly, I felt like a lost duckling.
Quickly spotting an aisle that seemed to hold what I wanted to buy, I darted forward. I slid behind a mannequin, then looked around in awe, again.
