The next second, fierce winds rolled about in the heavens as countless wind blades rolled over towards Karmon. Karmon smirked coldly. His sword exploded with a sword aura that was several meters long, slashing through the wind blades while heading for Roshan. Roshan took a step backward as he waved his hand. A spirit amulet appeared and caught fire the next second, bringing about a thick bolt of lightning that swung over toward Karmon. Karmon let out a loud cry, the spirit flames on his body burning brightly as he took the bolt of lightning head-on and continued in his attack with his sword.

The Veil’s voice roars—Convergence, the heart endures—and the blade’s runes blaze, its song a call to war. The vision fades, and I roar, slashing the Voidborn’s blade, lunar light burning, Aelys’s aura merging with mine. Cassia’s fire erupts, Renn’s relics flare, Maddox’s shadows bind, Sylvara’s vines lash, and Lysara, Zorath, and Valthor strike, their starlight blades glowing. The void in the vicinity trembled. Yaseen saw the incoming and held his guard up. He hastily threw the small cauldron-liked spiritual weapon into the air. The spiritual weapon rose against the wind, transformed into the size of a mountain, and shimmered with a dazzling radiance.

Maya Kaye sighed. In an instant, a fierce light flashed across her eyes. She drew her sword and made a move. "The Phoenix Wing's Starry Night Slash!" Swoosh! In an instant, the curved sword radiance stretched out in the air and chopped down. The surrounding flames howled in unison. Deep in the void, there seemed to be the cry of a phoenix. Clang! The two swords clashed. The male cultivator frowned and looked surprised. Maya Kaye smiled. Spiritual Qi burst out.

"I won't let go." Rhydian smiled through the blood on his lips. "You never have to." The Twin Blades merged into one brilliant white sword. Its light pierced the heavens. The King of the Void looked at the weapon. For the first time... It took a single step backward. "You forged..." Its voice carried something unfamiliar. "...the Blade of Beginning." The Creator smiled. "No. They did." The white blade released a pulse of light that spread across the collapsing world. Dead trees bloomed. Broken stone became green with life. The frightened Gatekeepers felt hope returning to their hearts. Even the widening crack in the sky stopped growing.

There must be something else. “After I defeat him again,” he said, his eyes on Prince Ron. “you’re coming with me.” Vathar scoffed as he stepped forward, drawing out his weapon. “I'd like to see you try.” The scimitar slid free in a hiss of metal—red and silver. Its edge shimmered like liquid fire the surface glistening with runes. He leveled it toward the Earth Spirit. “He’s not going anywhere with you.” “You think I can’t destroy you both where you stand?” The Earth Spirit said, and with a sweep of his hand, his own blade materialized. The sword was long and straight, its hilt glittering with crystalline veins of emerald and quartz.

Blade sprang into action to catch it, but the boar was wild and rabid and was not surrendering without a fight. Even before Blade got even a slight scratch from the wild boar, it just dropped dead on his feet. I had to tell the spirits not to interfere with Blade unless I asked them to. They agreed, but a few days later, while Blade was sparring with one of his warriors, his body was enveloped in a black mist, and I had to scream and ask them to stop. I was terrified that if Mike attacked Blade, he would just drop dead. So, at this point, Blade and I decided that he was not to go into any friendly combat with anyone until I could make the spirits stop overprotecting him.

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. To my shock, the passenger door opened and a girl came out. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

“You think you’re the only one?” “You wound me, Delia,” Gray chuckles. She slaps his arm playfully, letting him know it's time to get serious. He straightens up, as all signs of amusement snap from his face in a split second and holds still while she goes to work on the chain in his hands. She places both of her hands a few inches above the metal and whispers some incantation until a low blue glow can be seen from underneath her palms. When the glow fades she moves her warm copper brown hands and sighs.

The soul eater sits on the floor, covered in blood and something else that I don't recognize until I open the door further and step in. Looking down, I see a disemboweled baby torn to shreds. It's in so many pieces that I can't even tell for sure what it is, except for the baby bottle half buried in the blood and intestines. Suddenly, the smell hits me and I have to bend over as I lose my supper. Sandwich spraying everywhere, even on the soul eater. She looks up at me and smiles while holding an arm bone and then begins gnawing on it.
