I darted my eyes around the glade, searching out the voice I’d heard, and spotted him closer to the forest line. Samson. I ran towards him, leaving Bruce to deal with the Obsidian King. The king tried to use his magic, but he was fearful and clumsy, and his magic was much too weak to overcome a creature the size of Bruce. Bruce used his front paws to knock him to the ground and pinned him there. Suddenly fae appeared from all sides of the glade, with Queen Neva and King Roman in the centre. Together, they apprehended the Obsidian King and restrained him.
