Ashes Before Dawn

Ashes Before Dawn

Their voices grew fainter and fainter until Joshua could no longer hear anything at all. Meanwhile, aboard a flight to Francoria, Yara slept peacefully against the window. Cassius was about to drape a blanket over her when she slowly opened her sleepy eyes. "You're awake. Did you sleep well?" Yara smiled and stretched lazily. "I've finally gotten my revenge. I don't think I've ever slept this peacefully before." Cassius smiled. "Yeah. I heard Joshua's legs were too badly damaged to save. They had to amputate both of them. He'll be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Ashes and Obsidian Feathers

Ashes and Obsidian Feathers

Then they would have backed away when they had the chance. Asia, with no weapon and not a single ounce of empathy in his heart, brutally dislocated their bones, knocked out their teeth, and tore their skin. In the end, a few were lying on the ground unconscious, a couple could barely stand, and the rest were bleeding. His face was covered in blood, none of it his own.

Ashes of the Beloved

Ashes of the Beloved

Aisha looked toward the forest before he could see the tears gathering in her eyes. Because for the first time, she understood exactly what he meant. And for the first time since arriving at Belle Vue, she realized that helping Arman might require far more than medicine. It might require helping him grieve people who had never existed. And she wasn't sure which of them would survive that process.

A Crown of Ashes

A Crown of Ashes

Her pocket sagged with the vial’s weight, that damn glass nagging her, and Ezra’s laugh still rang in her head—his smug ass waving the key like a prize. “Grab something!” Roman shouted, voice torn over the rush, his other hand scrabbling at the wall’s edge, now just a crumbled lip of concrete. The water was winning, surging up her ribs, tugging at her soaked jacket. She gagged on it, tasting mud and salt, her arm screaming where the knife had cut—blood swirling red in the dark churn.

Loyalty and Ashes

Loyalty and Ashes

My whole body trembled as I stared at the floor unable to look at the screen anymore. “ We just started ….you have to watch till the end.” Javan pulled my head back up, gripping on my hair and holding it in place. My stomach twisted when I saw that he forced his dick into his own mouth and I threw up. I bent forward and emptied my stomach on the floor. “ That's disgusting!” Javan spat and then signalled to his men to clean it up. The sound Felix made when Eren moved closer wasn’t human. It was loud and choked, the sound of someone whose mind had already realized they were already dead.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

A pointless effort. "It's not pointless!" Ashiel shouted, stepping forward. "Their lives mattered! Their stories matter!" Do they? The Oblivion turned its void towards him. Your brother's story mattered, did it not? It was full of conflict and pain and a final, dramatic sacrifice and what has it left you? A pot of ashes and a hole in your heart. I can take that pain away. I can make it so that it never was.

Trapped In The Alpha's Shadow

Trapped In The Alpha's Shadow

Adasha The sky burned red. Ash spiraled down like black snow, clinging to the blood-soaked fur that covered my body. My heart thundered in my chest—not from fear, but from purpose. I stood tall in the wreckage of Eldenberge, surrounded by my people, their blood and breath mixing with the dirt beneath our paws. And across the battlefield… Edmond shifted. His bones cracked in ways that defied nature, each snap echoing like gunfire in my ears.

there is romance but not clingy, action but not unrealistic, good people are good but not fool or like white lotus but sharp, couples don't hide frome eachother but trust eachother and still everything is realistic not like fairytale which is not possible(except it's shifter story which is not real).

Onyx Flame (A Fated Mate's Romance)

Onyx Flame (A Fated Mate's Romance)

I keep my sobs quiet as I sneak out of the room. It’s still dark outside. I tiptoe throughout the house until I get to the backyard. Then I let Ash take over and stretch her legs. We run through the forest, but it’s not the same thrill it used to be. Ash lets out a mournful howl. The ache never relents. She runs along the border, only stopping when she catches the scent of Aurora Flame. A dark figure stands near the border. Ash takes a fighting stance, but the figure holds his hands up in defeat. She growls as he moves closer to us. The figure steps into the moonlight, sending relief over Ash and me.
