Adom let go of Ammy and she fell to her knees, too weak to stand on her own. Adom stood, brave and unarmed between Ammy and Jones, not flinching when the alpha snarled at him to move aside. Adom refused and Jones rolled his eyes before back handing Adon who grit his teeth and fell to the side, on one knee.

Present Day/Night Nora & Blake’s P.O.V Nora and Blake sat by the lake, on top of some rocks, watching the water ripple slowly in the wind. It was a fresh night and all the animals were out doing their own nightly business. There was a silence before Nora spoke, her voice quiet but able to be heard. “How much longer before this is over?”

Every instinct whispered that the man who had purchased her was watching. She thought about the auction, about the ten million dollars that had bought her. Victor hissed. He swung. His fist connected with Subject Zero’s jaw, sending the clone flying backward. She hit the safety rail of the reactor pit, her skin flickering like a dying television screen. She looked at Victor, a jagged, robotic grin stretching across her face. "The twins... belong to the state..." Zero rasped. The rail snapped. Zero tumbled into the white-hot core of the reactor. A pillar of violet fire erupted, and the ship groaned, a sound of dying gods.

I could not feel her presence any longer. Snow continued piling on me as a snowstorm built up, quickly burying me beneath a sheet of white. Yet, just before my consciousness completely faded into the darkness, I thought I saw two tall, dark figures approaching me through the snow. "We've found her," a low, attractive voice said close to my ear. Another voice said, "We've found our Luna."

- The blue candle's smoke soon wafted beyond the factory, and it was Bravo who got struck first since he was leading the charge. He paused for a moment, his gaze quickly losing focus. Then, without a word, he brandished his machete and turned toward Frank, lunging at him! All his men were left stunned when they saw him behaving weirdly. "What's wrong, Mr. Lambert?!" On the other hand, Frank could tell immediately from Bravo's unfocused gaze and wobbling pace that he had been poisoned. He knocked Bravo to the floor at breakneck speed while tapping the acupoints on his temples and his ears rapidly.
