The Tycoon’s Bride.

The Tycoon’s Bride.

Clara walked in with two other maids behind her, they bowed before dropping the tray of food on the bed, the last two bowed and ran off leaving just me and Clara. “Did Tristain order you to bring breakfast to me”. I inquired, looking at the grand style the meals were served. “Yes ma’am, it was an order”. She responded by bowing. “Oh…. Clara can you get me painkillers, my whole body ached”. I said opening up the covered meal one at a time and filled with laughter. He sure knows how to play his game. “Right away ma’am”. Clara responded and rushed off. Breakfast was served in a grand style, at one corner there was scrambled egg, fruit salad, pancakes warm and fluffy with honey dripping down spr

Love above all

Love above all

Looking at the phone with a ‘you are not serious’ look, Brian hands the phone to Rebecca. “It is Bruce for you.” “Thank you,” she says as she takes the phone. As they were talking, Rebecca got a slight blush on her cheeks that told Brian that it was something to do within the bedroom and not for all ears. Something touched his heart. Why could he not have seen what he had till it was too late? Stopping in front of the club, they walked towards the entrance. Brian was shocked that they could call this a club. It was falling apart. Again walking inside, Brian had the same reaction Rebecca had when she first saw the club inside.

Condemned The Mafia Book Three Cruel Intentions Series

, Everly says, and I smile at them. “I would love to”, I let out, and they stand up almost simultaneously, walking back to the stove as they keep making breakfast. “Where are we going?” I ask, and Everly looks at me, smiling, “to Theo’s club. It’s downtown and full of security. You know they would never let us go to a normal club”, she says, and I frown. “Why not?”, I ask, and Ashley puts a plate in front of me with scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. I smile at her, and she shakes her head as she rests her hips against the breakfast bar.

This was a wonderful book! Took a little time getting used to all the changes in the POVs, but once I did - I actually really appreciated and liked it. Helped give so many different perspectives. Cant wait to read the 2nd book. Great job author!

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Part of me wondered if it was something that Matt was interested in or if it had been some strange sort of gift to Felix. If he wasn’t making enough money at night from wild parties and pulsing music, Club Heaven was open during the day as an upscale brunch, lunch, and dinner restaurant. The poles and water cages were hidden away and without the fluorescent and black lights, the space looked open and airy. Within a few days, it had become a hit among the upper class of Midnight. From what Owen told me about bussing tables and listening to the people eating, a lot of people were excited about having wholesome brunches in the same space that they had spent the night getting hot and sweaty in.

Thoughtful, action packed, and dripping with feminist enabling leads. Totally unexpected side-characters also step into the light. Ending felt rushed, and change of POV felt like a first-person restriction. Pre-climax was confusing with too many planning details. I loved the women as allies theme.
Vroom Vroom
Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

The Banshee: Mated to the Alpha

The Banshee: Mated to the Alpha

Clara made breakfast as her two friends were horrible cooks. She made scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. Gina helped heat up the milk while Raya remained seated at the dinning, waiting for Clara to bring out the dishes. They had small conversations while eating breakfast. It was only then that Clara realized she hadn't made a call through to her mom since her arrival in Mystic Falls. Wiping her finger clean, she quickly walked to the living room, grabbed her purse and brought out her cell phone.

I say to her and she hums before she hands me a drink and a plate of food. “You know the drill, all of it, Honey. I know the drugs are keeping you awake. But please rest for me. You know you will crash soon and I don’t want that.” She says before she places the cutlery in front of me. I thank her and sip my drink and dig into my breakfast. Cheese omelette, sausage, bacon, and hash browns. Yummy. I shovel the food in as fast as I can because I know the men will be here soon. And not just the members of the club, but the men I called in my favours with.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!! I found this book as a suggestion and haven’t been able to put it down since I picked it up; I read it so fast that I got to the point where I had to wait for Ms. Lou to add the updates. I really loved how this story evolved and can’t wait to read her other books!

OUR BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (O.B.C)

OUR BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (O.B.C)

Shammie
It is the day after the club as Xeno, Natasha and I sleep, spread all over Natasha's room. We wake up to Natasha's mom knocking on her door. "Ladies! Get up, breakfast is ready!" she says. With the thought of food just down the stairs, I get up immediately, and my stomach growls from being hungry. I go into Natasha's bathroom and empty my bladder. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth. I walk downstairs to see everyone already there eating and I join them. After we eat breakfast, we go back into Natasha's room. Natasha looks at both of us with an uncomfortable expression on her face, as if she were hiding something. "Xeno, Lesha," she begins slowly.

Claimed by my ex husband’s uncle

Claimed by my ex husband’s uncle

"That is the whole story. She miscounted us from the beginning, and that is why it ends here." I eat my breakfast. She eats hers, the kitchen is full of morning light and the city is doing its ordinary Saturday things outside and Clara comes in at eight-thirty in her reading glasses looking for coffee, and the three of us occupy the space together in the particular way of people who have been through something large and are now learning what the other side of it feels like. It feels like this. Eggs and coffee and morning light and people who chose each other. That is what holds when everything else breaks.
