I held my crying son in my arms, gently soothing him. At that moment, my mind drifted back to the day Janelle gave birth. It was a difficult delivery. She was in labor for a full day and night in the operating room. She nearly lost her life. I cried uncontrollably, blaming myself for letting her suffer like that. Yet she only smiled, looking peaceful and happy. “Being able to marry you and give birth to your child is the happiest thing in my life.”

He tugged away his mouth from the globe and looked up at his teacher. Their eyes made contact and Mrs. Singh understood what he was trying to express. She looked down at him with a smile. “I forgot to tell you about my breasts,” she told him. “My milk keeps flowing even though my last baby is now four years old,” she revealed. “The doctors need to remove them or they will become painful,” she explained. “What? You have kids?” asked Jeff while looking at her knickers that were soaking wet. “If you look at my body, it is hard to tell that I have two kids, right?” she replied.

His face puckered up, like he was getting ready to demand something. I pushed the material away from my breast and let him root around until he found my nipple. Are you cutting out sugar because it's not healthy?” Noemia asked curiously as she returned to the living room with a glass of water. Overwhelmed with emotion, tears streamed down Letta's face, unable to hold back her joy, which in turn moved Marco to wipe away tears of happiness.

the doctor chuckled. I slid the gown down exposing my swollen breasts. I held my son up to my nipple as I tried to feed him first. It took a few tries, but he finally latched on. She explained. Breastfeeding was not easy. It took me the whole 4 days of being in the hospital to stop losing my temper and get them to latch correctly. I cried a few times which did not help. Poor Dorothy just stayed with me and calmed me down each time. When I got home I was greeted by neighbors who were dropping off casseroles and stopping by to see the boys. That first week was hell.
