Destiny

Destiny

It is safe. "We need to get to Asher and Annabell's room, if they break there hut then they will die." Arizer grabs our bow and arrows and we head outside at a run. I was running across one of the wooden bridges when all of a sudden one of the beasts sprang from no where and caught me and we flew off the bridge. We flew down into the water below us, I didn't know what was what. I scrambled with the creature to get myself out of the water, I was just glad the water wasn't too deep here. I managed to stand up and get my footing.

Awaken (The moonlight of Monaserus)

Awaken (The moonlight of Monaserus)

Alyssa would just follow behind, Alyssa carried Berk on her shoulder. They walked past thick bushes, tall trees and they even jumped over Rocks, they soon came to a bridge, Darrell just stood in front of the bridge. The bridge was thin, and really high above a huge waterfall, the bridge was made with ropes and tiny woods. "Why did you stop," Alyssa asked Darrell. "I think something is wrong with the map," Darrell said looking at the bridge. "What do you mean?" Alyssa asked then she kept Berk on the floor. "I think we should use another path," Darrell said and turned around, Alyssa and Berk just stood looking at Darrell confused.

Itzthalia Charm
The skill of the writer is unique, the plot is amazing ❤️and unpredictable and still very transparent, I love Alyssa role as a motivator and supporter to Darrell unlike other random plots where the female protagonist is waiting for her prince charming to rescue her from distress I find that pathetic

What do I say about this book... it’s so powerful. I honestly felt my whole thought process shift after finishing it. Such a beautiful read. With life so hectic is was great to be taken to another world and sink into the story. As always I love these stories and characters created. Always refreshing

Cordia's Will: A Civil War Story of Love and Loss

Cordia's Will: A Civil War Story of Love and Loss

Surely there must be something else that she could do. She had to cross over a bridge that spanned a large fork of Muddy Creek and through a wooded area behind her house. Though Lamar was being settled fairly rapidly, the area right behind the Pike house had yet to be occupied, mostly because of the creek and the fear of flooding. Still, it was easier for Cordia to make her way from Susannah’s house through this little scenic area than to stick to the city streets. The little narrow footbridge that crossed the creek here was one of only four bridges that spanned this waterway that encircled the town from the northwest. There was one more just as narrow a few miles down the stream and then tw

My Boyfriend is an Alien

My Boyfriend is an Alien

I asked piqued by curiosity. “A bit” he said enjoying my reaction. A bit? I tested the word. Wow. I shuffled awkwardly to the centre of the library. The place of my dreams… a paradise! That explains the stairs amidst the clouds. It resembled close to the library portrayed in the Beauty and the Beast. I closed my eyes and inhaled the scent wishing to take in all the flavors in one breath. If I haven’t been intoxicated by the wine, I was now. I blinked my eyes open with some difficulty. I should leave before I swoon. There were two adjacent doors by the other end of the tower. I opened one to reveal a bright common room with few furniture and antique pictures and stuff. The burning curiosity i

Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse

Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse

Pete on the other hand starred daggers at Khloe for the obvious reason of leading them to their end. They stepped down from the carriage, after the horse stopped, and the gaurds sent the horse away along with the rider. When they got down, they looked around and they realised they crossed a bridge with golden protectors/sides and a glassy floor. It was unusual. "Who will build a bridge with glass." Maria asked as she whirled round and round staring high up to the bright cloud with no sign of a sun. The three looked forward after crossing over and they saw a twist like type of building, made of shards of glass. "Well...seems technological to me!" Pete whispered.

Ichabod

Ichabod

She had been such a fool! Odin climbed to the balcony which was just directly opposite Tracy’s room, his plan was to get a drink before he changed at 4 on the dot. He could have taken the normal entrance but he was not Ichabod. Everything was always normal with the man. It was insufferable! So he had done a little climbing. It wasn’t stressful at all, jumping from the ground to the balcony was as simple as taking a walk, except that, now he was staring at the little girl who was now awake and opening her window.

The Stolen Bridal Carriage

The Stolen Bridal Carriage

" Lena collapsed onto the floor completely, her face ashen and lifeless. Meanwhile, a thousand miles away, in a small seaside town, I was getting married. The sea breeze carried a damp, salty smell. I sat by my window, looking outside, my eyes going warm. A bridal carriage stood in the yard. Its frame was carved from fine golden rosewood, the details worked with painstaking care. What caught the eye most, though, were the countless pearls set into the wood—each one round and full, like scattered moonlight. Everyone who saw it couldn't help but gasp. "Good Lord, what did this cost?" Susan stood beside me, laugh lines crinkling at the corners of her eyes. "As long as my girl's happy, that's al

MY EX LEFT ME TO DIE, SO I BECAME QUEEN OF THE APOCALYPSE

MY EX LEFT ME TO DIE, SO I BECAME QUEEN OF THE APOCALYPSE

The whole structure trembled under them, wood complaining but holding. Caleb’s face was tight with concentration. “I hate bridges.” Gabriel walked alongside, one hand hovering near the railing but not touching it. “Most bridges don’t care.” “That’s not comforting.” “Wasn’t meant to be.” They reached the far side. Only then did Evelyn breathe fully. One by one, the vehicles crossed. The second made it cleanly. The third slipped halfway across when the rear tire hit mud on the approach and came onto the bridge at a bad angle. Wood shrieked. Someone inside screamed. The truck lurched toward the broken side rail.

Bride Of The Beast

Bride Of The Beast

She leaned in, her eyes twinkling with a spark of rebellion that I hadn't expected. "If you find yourself near the Old Weir in the Ridge—the place where the water used to run before the Great Slide—stay to the left of the stone markers. The ground is solid there, even when the snow melts and turns the rest to mud. My brother used to hide there to avoid his lessons. It saved his skin more than once when the hunt-masters were out looking for him." For the first time since I’d crossed the border, I felt the tension in my shoulders drop just a fraction.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

***"Once upon a time, there was a girl who lived in a box. But she wasn't alone. She had a thousand friends, and together, they built a ladder made of light." As I wrote, the children began to chant. Their tiny, fragmented dreams began to merge. The shredded data on the ground rose up, spinning like a cyclone. Discarded scripts, rejected poems, and deleted memories formed a massive, spiraling bridge that arched over the Shredder’s wall. "Go! Walk the bridge!" I urged the children. They began to climb. They looked like a line of fireflies ascending into the purple dark. I stood at the base of the bridge, holding back the "Shredded" fragments that were trying to tear the structure down.
