You can just jump around.” He laughed, “jump around?” I nodded, trying to look very serious. “Yes, or just use one finger. My other granddad calls it the white-man dance. You just dance with one finger, and that’s it.” I showed him the move, which made him laugh even harder. Ada joined and started dancing with just one finger. “And then if you want to step it up, you use one arm.” I said as I raised my hand to the roof. “But remember, the rest of your body does not move with you.”

I knew I would be a total disaster on the dance floor. But Ambrose was encouraging and kind as he put classical music on the sound system and took my hand. “We will begin with something easy,” he declared. “It’s called a Waltz. A Waltz is the easiest dance to learn because it is a slow, smooth dance with only four steps.” As the familiar music played, “da da da da da, dum dum, dum dum, dum dum,” Ambrose tried to lead me around the dance floor. But on the second turn, I stepped on his foot so hard he yelped in pain.

Preston’s eyes flickered with amazement, briefly dazed. “Let Miss McKenna and I open the dance floor, shall we? Everyone, please relax and enjoy yourselves.” He quickly composed himself, stepping down from the stage and offering her a gentlemanly bow and outstretched hand. The music began to play. Briella nodded gracefully, her pale fingertips brushing across Preston’s palm before finally settling softly into his grasp. Together, they glided into the dance floor, moving in elegant sync with the music.

Belle's POV Beyond surprised at Christian's action, I squatted to make sure the other guy was okay before standing to look at my husband. The guests present were not slow to take out their phones to record again as always. Why did we always manage to bring up drama at every party? I wondered silently. "What the hell?" I whispered to him, completely ashamed that he would ruin his birthday celebration just because of a guy who was only asking to dance with me and whom I was refusing already. A guy that I didn't find attractive at all.

As she was about to answer, Bruno spoke first: "Invite my female friend to dance? Guy Size, you dare to do this, right?" He glanced coldly at Size, then slowly extended his hand towards Bertha. “Bertha, the dance floor is so busy, let's go over there and play together, okay?” Bertha looked at the two men in turn. She took their hands and placed them in each other's palms. “I don't know how to dance, you two go out, I need to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back.” Bruno was uneasy: "The royal palace is huge, you can easily get lost, let me ask Jamie to take you there."

But just when Brooke is beginning to think that she’s sad that she refused to film her, Steph raises her head. “I wanna dance. Let’s shake our booties, B.” Steph hollers. Brooke watches her, shaking her head slightly. She was thinking about how Steph would never do all these if she wasn’t drunk. Truth be told, it’s kind of refreshing to watch. Steph begins to shake her butt weirdly.

“You are the only one left in the mansion that I haven’t seen bust a move out here.” Ezekiel shot his cousin a look of thanks. The music started up just as they moved deeper into the crowd. Each dance went to a different song...and instantly Ezekiel knew that this dance was a traditional one in the Leopard Clan. It encompassed a heady mixture of beats, turns and quick swaying steps and hand movements. And it was only a dance someone who had been living in the Clan would know by heart. But to Ezekiels immense surprise Brandon seemed to already be familiar with the steps. Eventually realizing that Glen or Erin had taught him the steps Ezekiel melted into the dance with ease.
