HIS MINI BEAR
I replied, offering a somewhat vague response.
"Good. You said this last time too. Did you find your brother?" he inquired, his concern evident in his furrowed brow.
"Well, I got a boyfriend," I replied, intentionally avoiding the sensitive topic of my missing brother.
His expression shifted to one of concern. "What about your brother?" he pressed, his worry palpable.
"He's dead," I admitted quietly, unable to meet his gaze as I spoke.
"I am sorry, may his soul rest in peace," Father Peter offered his condolences, closing his eyes briefly in a silent prayer.
