I just wanted to be home in arms of my parents. I can actually be hugged now. I can hug them as much as I want without the fear of becoming ill. I shot out of bed at the thought, my smile so bright it was visible in the dark.bi couldn't sit still anymore so I jumped out of the bed and jumped around trying to wear myself out. It too exciting now. I looked up at the clock. Three o'clock. Joel cradled Elora against his chest, her silver glow fading as unconsciousness claimed her. Maren stood over them, her face pale. “The true war begins now.” The blood moon burned brighter overhead, its crimson light promising chaos yet to come.
