I quickly pressed the up button and luckily, the elevator door opened right away and I immediately entered while atill carrying Gab for me to escape the scrutinizing look from the receptionist. I just hope she's not a fan of BL cause I heard she's kind of talkative and shares everything to anyone. And the last thing that I would want to happen is to be linked with this weak drunkard. Tsk.

I suck in air when I step on the cold tile with my naked feet.

Suddenly a bubble protruded from Andrius’ chest. Kate and Wade both noticed it immediately. They exchanged a look, confused about what could have caused the bubble. The next moment, the bubble started moving around Andrius’ body. Every time it reached a location, it made a faint pop. Although the pops were very soft, they both heard it in the dead silence of the hall. They had never heard of anything like this before. Their hearts raced. Andrius closed his eyes tightly. He had reached a critical juncture. Success or failure would be determined here. There was no room for error.
