“Don’t just stand there. Let’s go.” The Beta, Kael, stared me down, his expression and tone ice-cold. I moved like a robot, bending down to pick up my backpack. My phone buzzed. Jeremy pov: "Hey, get ready to go out. I just need to take a quick bath and we can be on our way, alright?" Steve said to me with a playful tone. "Can I hop in with you?" I asked, feeling a little adventurous. "Of course you can!" Steve exclaimed, sounding excited like a child. I couldn't help but giggle at his enthusiasm as we both quickly shed our clothes and made our way into the washroom. We stepped into the shower, allowing the water to cascade over us, washing away any remnants of our passionate encounter.

Sully, with his hands raised, was retreating into the room carefully. Huh?! Steve gasped and his eyes widened when he saw Sully being pointed by a gun at his forehead. He bolted up and went to the center of the lounge. He saw through the door that his guards were all beaten up and forced onto their knees outside the lawn. I looked at Steve’s face—before looking back at her. “Sweetheart, do you want to know a secret? Do you know who he really is?” I whispered loudly into Luna’s ear, making sure Steve could hear every word. “He’s actually Hulk.” Luna’s face lit up, and she burst out laughing. She pointed her tiny finger at his thick arms and the way his muscles stretched out that grey tee. “Yes! He has muscles like him!” she giggled, her voice ringing across the balcony. “Uncle Hulk! Uncle Hulk!”

“Why come to me with this? What’s in it for you?” Bucky’s gaze is unwavering. “They promised me retribution for Charmaine’s death. I agreed to their plans, but my loyalty to the pack and the city remains intact. I don’t wish to see your downfall, not at the cost of the city’s destruction. My grip on Steve tightened and I swallowed a lump that formed in my throat. I can’t deny the fact that I was greatly affected by the men walking towards us. Okay, not men. Beasts.
