Soft rugs were scattered around in different shapes that were playful, comforting. Against the far wall, a reading nook had been built with shelves filled from top to bottom. Picture books for the little ones, novels of all kinds for the older ones. Damn near every topic that you could think of. Fiction, non-fiction, manga, history, lore, etc. A huge, cushioned bench wrapped along the windows, covered in pillows so fluffy even I wanted to curl up on them.

It was a bargain. I’m setting up an area in the lounge space by one of the arched windows as my reading nook. Dad has bought me a large fluffy, pale pink bean bag for the corner and Atlas has given me vouchers for Button’s shops on the hight street where I have my eye on a beautiful mahogany, square table. There’s a matching bookcase I want to get for all my books. Only, I do have a lot of books so I may need to put a bookcase or some shelving up in the bedroom too.

I ran my hand along the woodwork beautifully crafted to match the rest of the apartment. "How?" The shelves were partially filled with the books that arrived from Palo Alto, as well as all the ones I'd already picked up from Columbia, with plenty of room for more. There was also a small but well-equipped gym, which was a little further away from the library, in order to keep it a quiet and peaceful area – as quiet as a house full of wolves could be, anyway. It was a room constructed mainly of windows, and warm white and dark wood stretching across the floor and up the walls. Towering bookcases rested between each of the ground-to-ceiling windows, creating cosy nooks between them. Each of these had a small window seat and a soft lamp, with a view out onto the expansive lawns outside.
