The Captive

The Captive

We got to a particular place after mounting the stairs upwards, hence leading us to a higher floor, when I saw something that made me yell out sharply, like the sound a person would make when needle is jutted on his butt. But I took me minutes to realize that the sound had originated from my lips because I was momentarily frozen. It was a skull hung on a stick that had been dug a few feet below the ground. The skull was dipped in a crimson red color instead of the organic brown or white that it normally was. It was obvious that it was someone's blood that had been poured on the skull. I wondered if it was the blood of the people he murdered in the past. Somehow, I got the feeling that it was

Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers

Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers

His feet made a crunching noise as he stepped on a dark object. "What's that?" Dane asked, walking towards him. "No idea." Zane bent down to inspect the strange object. "Oh shit!" He yelped, jumping away from the object. "What the hell was that?" Dane asked with a concerned frown on his face. "That's a skull! That's a freaking skull!" Zane said in a panicked voice. "Relax Zane, it's dead already," Dane said turning aside, I heard him spit out in disgust. "Don't you know what that means?" Zane's eyes widened in horror.

My Hockey Alpha

My Hockey Alpha

“Huh?” Luke pointed a gloved finger at my notebook where I had a diagram of a skull with notes scribbled on it. “Right there. You got your terms mixed up. It’s occipital bone, not parietal bone. The parietal bone is over here.” He pointed to another spot on the skull. I stared at my notes for a moment, then realized that he was right and erased my notes so I could fix them. “Thanks,” I muttered. “No problem.”

Love this story. It is thrillingly mysterious. The love and lust is palpable. Some of it seems to be written a little immaturely. Maybe that's how the character arc was supposed to relay, and we feel them mature. There are also 2 chapters that are repeated almost verbatim. Otherwise,I'd give 5 stars

This book is so good! I love how complex it is. I’ve been reading it for the past two weeks and just finished it! I’m so sad and so badly hope the author is writing more chapters as I speak! I’ve had a lot going on in my life and head and this book has been the best to help! My bf is jealous of it!

The Tycoon’s Temptress - Red Flower’s Chase

The Tycoon’s Temptress - Red Flower’s Chase

” Kaifeng Lei just watched me from the side as he whistled and more men came to help with the dig. Then my breath hitched. It really was bones. And not any bones. The skull alone was nearly the size of a wagon wheel. And the femur, the thigh bone was as long as a full-grown man. Laid out, the skeleton stretched the length of at least four, maybe five men, lined up head to toe. “My God,” I whispered. “Raffaele—sample kits. Now.” He was already moving. I knelt and scraped delicately at a spot near the ribcage. There seemed to be something soft and unmistakably organic left.

MARKED BY THE ALPHAS HEAT

MARKED BY THE ALPHAS HEAT

In this organism consisting of gigantic muscles and bones that is made for squeezing money out of all things, a head seemed to me really quite superfluous. Who, now, can conceive my astonishment when, standing facing one of these fabulous beings, I arrived at the conviction that a billionaire is a human being like all the rest! I saw there comfortably reclining in an armchair a long, wizened old man, who held his brown, sinewy hands folded across a body of quite ordinary dimensions. The flabby skin of his face was carefully shaved. The underlip, which hung loosely down, covered solidly built jaws, in which gilded teeth were stuck. The upper lip, smooth, narrow and pallid, scarcely moved when

Death Wish : Dead Kiss

Death Wish : Dead Kiss

And some looked fresh, their stomachs were chalked and their kidneys and lungs were taken out. There were some bodies whose eyes looked as if they were still open and an old skeleton whose skull had turned to a blackened mess of bone, a pile of bones, in which the blood had long since dried. Some were so cracked that you could see the inner part of the skull. Others seemed to be intact, with teeth, skin and hair and even whole. But those skulls had no faces or ears, nothing was left except bones. The body parts were gone. She felt nauseated.

His Unlovable Mate

His Unlovable Mate

“A party?” “Yes, I’m sending him back to his mate in style,” giving the bag another shake so his chunk of collarbone and shoulder skin could reveal itself. Pip sighed. Possibly the tallest man I’ve ever seen, every move he made was languid, graceful. The time taken to move his long, spindly arms from each cupboard left the process resembling a dance. Soon, we had a glass jar and a shitload of embalming fluid. “Brain has to come out first. Then we glue the skull back together and pop it in the jar.”

This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions! I can’t honestly say I’ve never heard a story line like this. The story captures you in the first few chapters and have you chase a high that seems to come and then leave just like that. What an amazing journey this book has taken me on. U must read.

Good writing. Excellent world building and storytelling voice. Characters are really interesting, each has their own characteristics. I’m happy this was worth the purchase. A mixture of scenery and to the point dialect. Just work on punctuation placements in areas, this will help with flow.

Like the previous books by this author, this book is also very interesting and different from what I have read. I look forward to each new chapter. I'm very picky about the books I read. Your books seem to be exactly for me. I hope there will be many more exciting and interesting stories.

I'm absolutely in love with this novel! It was my first read on this app and I truly adore it. The story is amazing, your writing is consistently mindblowing. While updates may be slow, I believe this novel absolutely worth the wait. Please take time you need; the results always speak for themselves

Lilith III

Lilith III

Stefan grumbled, knocking the object with his knuckles, “It's a parietal bone, it's one of two located in the skull, it helps to form the roof of the cranium,” Lilith inspected it closely, “The real question is... Where is the other piece?” Stefan mumbled. “Guys—” I whimpered, swinging the torch from side to side, “if we don't leave right now, it's our skull next they are going to use as a dipper,” Gushing out of nowhere, a strong wind blew over us, putting out the flame,

Its long fingers were the size of my leg; and gripped at the ground in agony. Trauma’s skull had been fragmented, scattered around the face to form a massive skull-shaped mask. Parts of his brain were floating amongst the mess. I could even see one of his eyeballs suspended in the monster’s cheek. Its back was hunched; skewered with bone fragments and spinal cord. His back legs were slightly bowed and remained motionless, shielding most of its glowing stomach. The monster dripped bloody virus and easily dwarfed me. It could have easily been eight metres tall, maybe more.
