- One of the girls shouts. - I want to go dancing! – shouts the other one, followed by the other. The two boys enter the building, and the girls keep dancing on the benches, to the music. Two warriors pass the door and look at them. The scent inhibitor protected the car, so the warriors think they were human. On the contrary, they smelled the wolf within the warriors. - Babes, nice asses! – One of the girls shouts to the warriors, who smile in response. Then they go on their way shaking their heads. Really, humans are crazy, they think.

The chattering and arguments continued, people throwing out different theories and assumptions. But one thing everyone agreed on— That sexy-looking female warrior was not someone to provoke. ~Hunter’s Point of View~ I was enjoying my nice, quiet day off soaking in my huge tub. It had been a long week and my brothers and I rotated being on active duty and on call. I was aching for my week off. They were few and far between anymore since it seemed like everyday someone else was being a menace, being difficult. My brothers and I were Shadow Warriors, a coalition of various supernatural beings that keep the peace between each other and between our own kind. It’s a damn hard job, but someone has to do it.

Although the moon rabbit kittens were adorable, they were also crazy about carrots. Skree! It was a horrible sound to hear as baby bunnies died. The unluckier ones died in their bubbles, while the luckier monsters managed to touch the ground for a few seconds before they became meat pastes or skewers, depending on who they met first. Oritha’s Boomerang cut down many floating bunnies. Her amplified giant strength created sonic booms with every throw. Yet, the number of invaders could not keep up with the speed and ferocity of the defenders.

Maxine and Bulk braced themselves for an attack. By the time Maxine reached closer to the older golem the metal balls had changed into tall, faceless warriors with long ears. They were wearing metal armour and a helmet set with a red feather that looked like a chicken’s crown. They were numerous. “We are clearly outnumbered Boss,” Bulk said as he moved forward and slashed his heavy wrist into one of them. The warrior stumbled a bit but quickly regained its position. He charged forward for an attack. This time he was followed by three of his fellows. Bulk carefully read them, anticipating his next move.

The three lads felt it; the ripples of fear coursing through their veins, squeezing their heart and sucking life out of them, as they sat at the top of the mountain, their duty it was to sound the alarm at the sight of the approaching army. They sat quietly, none having the courage to speak. Jonah and Luh were almost similar in appearance with their dark skin and lean appearance, while Murai’s skin was of a darker shade, with an athletic build. They made an odd trio, even though they had all clocked eighteen, as Murai looked quite different from them. As the hours grew long though, their tongues loosened, and they began to speak.
