Buried Bloodline Destiny 2 Novels & Stories

Something that would challenge everything we thought we knew about Rowan, the Blackridge lineage, and the bonds that tied us all together. I clenched my fists, letting the Warrior’s pulse ground me. Dorian and Bryan mirrored my resolve, eyes fixed on the treeline, ears straining for the faintest hint of movement. Liora would continue training, yes, but the real threat—the one tied to blood, to legacy, to hidden history—was already moving in the shadows. “Prepare,” I whispered, more to myself than anyone else. “For the bloodline, for the Heir, for the hidden brother… for everything coming.”

—echoed like a ticking bomb inside my chest. Why turn himself in now? Why after all this time, after everything he’s done? Because he was done being the hunter. He wanted to become the bait. And we were too grief-drunk to realize it. The Chevres. That name has been vibrating like a warning in my skull. Rosetta. Damon. The whole damn bloodline. They’re still out there. Jace pulled the bike to a stop by a cliff that overlooked a black stretch of forest. Stars bled into the open sky. For a second, it felt like we were just...people.

And a name that shouldn't exist in any record I've ever seen: Luna Blackwood, the Defiant Sister. My mother's ancestor who refused the compact and vanished from history. Except she didn't vanish—she wove her bloodline into the Blackwood line through my mother's heritage, waiting for someone strong enough to carry both legacies. The loyal daughter and the rebel sister, united at last in my breaking body. Through the chaos of splitting power, the truth crystallizes with brutal clarity. There were always two lines from the original bloodline—I see it now in the visions that crash through my consciousness like waves against a cliff.

Rome had bowed beneath our rule, Milan had been reforged in blood, and our enemies had learned the price of testing the DeMarcus family. But dominance didn’t end with territory. It needed permanence. The walls of our estate had been built for empire—for deals struck in the dead of night, for war planned between the turning pages of history, for control that never wavered.

“Prophecy, prophecy, prophecy! That word has ruined my life. Do you even hear yourself, Adrian? It sounds like chains disguised as destiny.” For a moment, only the flames filled the silence. Then Adrian stopped pacing and turned toward her, his expression unreadable. “What if I told you… the prophecy isn’t just about you?” Her head snapped up. “What?” Adrian hesitated, jaw tightening as if the words themselves were too dangerous. Something deeper. Like my blood was answering him. The dreams came crashing back, the whispers clawing at my skull: Bloodline. Betrayal. Crown.
