I just want to feel connected to you, that's all." Mauler took a step back, her mind racing. This was insane. Butcher was being completely unreasonable. "You're a psycho," she spat, trying to keep her voice steady. Butcher just chuckled, his smile growing wider. "Maybe," he said. "But I just want to be around you, Mauler. You're interesting to me."

She held them off with ease. Hayley looked at him with a faint, calm smile. "Don't worry. I'll wait until you're reunited with your sister before I leave." The words hit him like a blow. His mind went blank. "Raarh!" Behind him, the zombie Diana he had been dragging suddenly twisted at an unnatural angle the moment his abilities disappeared. She snapped forward and sank her still-functional teeth straight into his leg. "Ahh!" Wally screamed in terror. Hayley watched as he was bitten, and a satisfied smile finally appeared on her face.

Though he was much stronger than each of these people, he could not compete with the joint efforts of so many fighters. Instantly, Butcher felt somewhat dizzy from those attacks. He saw a tall man standing before him. Another punch from the tall man sent Butcher flying away. “You’re that man, Tarzan!” Landing on the ground, Butcher felt as if his body had been hit by a truck. With much difficulty, he staggered to his feet and stared at Tarzan incredulously. Tarzan was not the only one present, but also Ashblood, Jamie Sunder, Martin Jakeman, and Fiona Jennings. All of them were members of Wolf’s Den.

I step into the allyway and look around, my wolf Violet growls "behind the trash bin," I pull the knife from my it's holster strapped to my thigh, holding it in my left hand and walk seductively to the otherside of the dumpster.
