I had stumbled into a den of monsters, and I was the next victim to be sacrificed on their blood-stained altar. As we made our way through the throngs of people, I saw the faces of those who were about to be slaughtered. They were slaves, no longer useful to the Lycans, and they were going to be put down like animals. It was a chilling sight, one that made my blood run cold. But the Lycan was not content with just killing these poor souls. He had his sights set on me.

she sobbed. Walter let his guard down when he saw that she had given up resisting. He placed the knife on the coffee table and pulled out his wallet. 'Now's my chance,' thought Hylda. As Walter was looking for his card, she suddenly grabbed the knife and stabbed him. Walter tried to snatch the knife away, but it was already too late. Hylda cut through his hand with immense strength, piercing the blade directly into his chest. Walter's face turned ashen, and his eyes were filled with disbelief. "You wretched—" He tried to reach for Hylda's neck, but she withdrew the knife and stabbed him again. This time, it went straight into his heart.

Then a handful of men, Dean's men, stepped inside. "Take him away, and give him the whipping of his life," he commanded. The men were busy whispering in a low tone, and then one of his men came closer with shaky hands. Although Wiley was a cruel man, Dean was know as the butcher, and sometimes the right hand of Wiley. He is the one the executes Wiley's evil deads. Dean stretched his hands out with his eyes shut. They cuffed him, and he followed them. He was almost out of the room when he paused and turned to Wiley.

"Jaxon, man. She came out of nowhere. I didn't see her.." Jaxon. Even drunk, the name registered like cold water. Jaxon Blackwood. Hockey captain. Future Alpha of the Blackwood Pack. The name that got whispered like a warning before new students even stepped on campus. I had kissed him. "Oh no," I breathed. Something shifted in his expression. The three of them walked around the front yard and returned to their residence. After entering the living room, Wills Watson gave Wal to his aunt to take along, allowing his aunt, who was busy at home, to go out first. He pulled Luna and sat down, then said to Butler: "You sit too."

Even though she had been smiling, it was obvious to Walter with the tremors in her voice that she was in trouble. “You can’t do this boss,” Walters Butler said. “You don’t even know this girl.” “Hola for another drink,” Walter replied, ignoring his butler’s warning. “What?” “Raise your hands and order for drinks, I won’t ask a third time, and slur your words when doing it,” Walter replied, his displeasure evident. His butler obeyed without further complaint, raising his hands and hollering for drinks at their table while making sure that his words were slurred.

Jack needed to get Thorne's attention, and in a place like this, there was only one language everyone understood. He made his way to the organizer, a greasy man with a gold tooth, and threw a thin roll of cash on the table. "I want to fight," Jack said, his voice low. The man looked him up and down, a look of pity and amusement on his face. "You got a death wish, kid? The next guy up is 'The Butcher.' He's got three kills in the cage." "I'll sign the waiver," Jack said simply.

I hissed at him. He just gave me this vacuous grin, like he didn't know he had stepped over the line. I shook my head at him, and then stepped aside as Coach delivered a stern lecture about how inappropriate he had been. She was so mad she was shaking. Wally's grin gradually faded, and then he was sent to the locker room to get dressed. Coach went into her office and wrote up a detention slip.
