Alpha Xavier
“You’ve always been good at words, Ms. Lewis. Not so much at delivery. And I am now tired of that bullshit.”
She swallowed, shaking. “Please, Alpha, I’ll fix it. Just give me time.”
I studied her face for a long moment, the panic in her eyes, the desperate tremor in her hands. She wasn’t brave, not anymore. She was cornered, frightened, and for the first time, fully aware of how thin the line between her usefulness and her death had become.
Finally, I straightened. “No more time,” I said simply. “Elias Gray and Rosalyn Vale are now a problem. One that I intend to remove. And you have proven that you are a failure. You wouldn’t be capable of anything more than just words.”
