Bloodbound: A Consort For The Vampire

Bloodbound: A Consort For The Vampire

“But how does Caius come into all of this?” Beau gives me a sad smile. “Caius was one of the best Lieutenants of the Old War, at least from what I can tell. Of course, he doesn't remember a thing. But from the textbooks I’ve read and the pictures I’ve seen, he was a true hero for all mankind.”

“Aunt Faith, I still have things to do. Please excuse me. Don’t worry, I will make sure Buffy returns before dark and I will make her apologize to you.” Faith regained her composure and nodded. Casius smiled. He sought the power of the Gwakes and the Krads—Faith's birth family—was also one of his targets. Otherwise, he would not waste time on Buffy knowing that she never liked him. “I understand you are a busy man. Don’t let me hold you up. I’ll just wait for your news.” Faith got up and walked Casius out the door. After the convoy left the manor, Casius leaned back on his seat and closed his eyes. He said, “Veron, what was it that you were trying to tell me back then? You received a call bu

Torn Between Mates

Torn Between Mates

We have gone through so much together; I don't even hesitate to bearhug him. The fae people are tall, elusive, and beautiful too. If not for his sleek muscles and slightly athletic body, you could mistake Cassius for a woman with his long silver hair and long eyelashes. "Long time no see," Cassius slams his hand three times against my back to tell me to let go. He might be taller than me, but it's easy spinning him around in the air. "Did you miss me?" I flash a grin. Cassius looks ready to kill with his murderous glare and eyes that scream put-me-down-or-I-will-curse-you.

Now that I am all caught up, can't say nothing but I enjoy this one immensely. It makes me laugh, it makes me not think (about life, which is why I look for in a book), it makes me feel good. Its masterfully written, excellent paced, fun and easy to follow. Cannot recommend this one enough

Absolutely amazing story! A definite must read, completely captivating Very well written and I love the characters. I’m on the edge of my seat reading this story, I really hope everything goes well as I would hate for Catherine to win and I worry she can control him. Anxiously awaiting update

Mooncursed: Fated to the Alphas

Mooncursed: Fated to the Alphas

A twisted relief that I am still alive and not in the jaws of those monstrous hunting dogs. Finally, with a groan, my eyes peel open. Sunlight pierces the room, stabbing straight into my skull. I wince. “There she is,” Caius purrs, stepping into view. He looks exactly the same, raven black hair, polished armor, clean white shirt, untouched by the chaos and blood he caused. Untouched by guilt. Untouched by morality. He sits with the ease of someone who believes the world belongs to him. “You tried to run.” His fingers trail the bed frame beside me, slow and deliberate. “I would advise against it next time, Rain. I may not be so forgiving again.”

“Dear, Callius is dominant and does what he wants. His heart is the only influence that moves him, just as Caius’s cold rationality leads his decisions. You have no fault for what happened here. I just urge you caution.” “What do you mean?” “Back in the Great War, Caius was our greatest general. The deabru shook with terror just at the whisper of his name. With their darkest magic, they tried to kill him once and for all. It didn’t work, though. All their magic did was tear his soul in two, leaving him with two broken pieces. Two pieces that are always born into twin brothers. Together they manage to function more or less normally, though they have only a fraction of Caius’s original strengt

Such a good story! The story flows well. Doesn’t go on too long describing a vibe or paragraphs of how one foliage growing on a home looks like (looking at you, Anne Rice). Seriously, though, “Jilguera” is a wonderful storyteller. Read this story. It’s so good.

Creative show not tell like of story. Unique and dosent have “breaks” or emotional slow parts. Love the diversity and embracing unconventional circumstances. Also it’s not to long or drawn out, it’s just the right length. A delightful afternoon read 10/10 thank you!

Alpha Cain

Alpha Cain

He pulls me into a hug when he reaches me, both of us looking in surprise at Cain when he makes an odd sort of feral growling noise, which he almost immediately covers by coughing. "Did you just growl?" I ask with a laugh and he frowns at me, shaking his head as though I'm crazy so I look at Damien for backup and he nods. While Gale is walking across the course at a speed that a sloth could overtake her, Damien and I try, and fail, to imitate the sound Cain made just now, stopping when he shoots us a look that lets us know how much he's not enjoying our joke.

Alpha Cassius Darkest Claim

Alpha Cassius Darkest Claim

“Tall, Slim muscular build. Red hair. His presence was… intense. He didn’t speak much, but when he did, it felt like an order more than a request.” Cassius’ expression didn’t change, but he knew. No one had the guts to cross him except one person that thought he was brave enough to cross him… Raze Wolfe. Cassius stepped back from the screen, his jaw clenching. “If anything happens to her,” he uttered slowly, his voice dangerously calm, “to her or my baby, every single one of you will answer for it. I would advise you started praying.” Cassius turned and walked away.

PREGNANT AFTER THE ALPHA’s REJECTION

PREGNANT AFTER THE ALPHA’s REJECTION

Then I spoke. “If you have touched them,” I said, “there is no version of what comes next that ends well for you.” A pause. Then a sound that might have been appreciation. “There she is,” Caius said. “I wondered how long the controlled version would last.” His voice was unhurried. Comfortable. The voice of a man conducting a conversation from a position of complete confidence. “I have not touched them, Elena. I have no interest in harming them. I want to be very clear about that.”

Claimed By The Vampire King

Claimed By The Vampire King

"I’m not the one playing by their rules anymore." Caius turned around. His face was a mask of cold, ancient intelligence. He walked toward me, his movements fluid, his presence dominating the room. He didn't look like a King who was losing his grip; he looked like a general who had finally found his weapon. "You've proven you can erase them," Caius said, stopping in front of me. "But you’re still thinking like a human, Andrea. You’re thinking about 'defending' this place. You’re thinking about 'keeping' it. You need to stop thinking about protection and start thinking about expansion."

Frequently Asked Questions

Carius is one of those legendary figures in 'Warhammer 40K' that makes the lore feel alive. As a veteran of the Imperial Guard, his story is etched into the grimdark universe with a mix of heroism and tragedy. He’s known for his leadership during the Siege of Vraks, where his tactical brilliance and unyielding spirit turned the tide in several key battles. What really sticks with me is how his character embodies the relentless human struggle against overwhelming odds—something that resonates deeply with fans of the setting.

His later years, though, are where things get heartbreaking. The mental toll of war and the horrors he witnessed eventually led to his downfall, a poignant reminder of the cost of duty in the 41st millennium. Games Workshop did a fantastic job of making him feel real, not just a faceless soldier but someone with depth and flaws. I always find myself revisiting his stories whenever I need a dose of that classic 'Warhammer' melancholy.
