The Legend of Fireheart

The Legend of Fireheart

the man bellowed, grabbing broken a chunk of wood that had been chipped into a very sharp angle. "No one will be killing anyone," Pakuri said as her hands lit up. She hurled a fireball at the block of wood the man was holding, setting it on fire. People screamed, backing away from her. The man instantly dropped the now lit chunk of wood, as smoke billowed out of it at his feet. "Karaina?" someone said. "They're Karainas!" "Witches!" "HOOVAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Someone yelled even louder, making everyone turn to look at Marcellus and Scarlett. "THEY'RE COMING FROM ARANDANA!"

THE WHITE WITCH

THE WHITE WITCH

“Their membership was revoked and they were kicked out. I believe the white witch was enraged that day.” “Did you just say white witch?” Dylan checked. “Yes, that is how the owner is referred to.” “Are you talking about a real witch or something?” “To be honest, I don't know, but what I noticed was that she only wore white clothes and had white hair.” “Is she really that old?” “She appears to be very young; no one knows anything about her. She's a mystery, but she's also the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.” He couldn't believe such a thing existed, but whatever it was, it wouldn't hurt to see for himself.

The Witch and The Wolves

The Witch and The Wolves

The screaming starts. We do not find out much. The witches that are attacking are not part of a particular coven. They are almost like rogues traveling alone or in small groups. Someone just shows up and gives them their assignment. Hester did not know who this person was nor did she see their face. The woman just shows up gives them information on where to go and what spell to use.

BLOODLINE OF WITCHES

BLOODLINE OF WITCHES

Saying this, Merga left the woman's hand and went back to her bag, placing clothes in it. The other witches began to pack quickly with fear written on their faces. Each one of them held their children, ordering them to fill as well. Mother Elanor did the same, her bag in her hand. A few minutes later, the sound of running horses came closer to the house. Each witch glanced at each other with panic written on their faces.

The Witch Luna

The Witch Luna

Nathan broke the uncomfortable silence as he continued scanning some files. “What the hell? Are you fucking kidding me? How?” he pushed himself on the edge of the chair with one elbow on the table, impatiently waiting for answers. It was a shocker for him. He had taken care of Laura her whole life but hadn’t noticed anything unusual. Was Nathan making fun of him? “I am not kidding, Nick. Laura and Elaine are both witches. They have been working with those cloaked men in the U9,” Nathan said lightly. Nick pressed his head between his palms in disbelief, eyes bulging and face reddening. “Oh, shoot. The hell?”

Alpha Jax

Alpha Jax

She was clad in a neat white shirt tucked into a straight gray skirt reaching exactly two inches below her knees and paired with pointy black heels, making her even taller and giving her a height that made my money, which I did not have a lot of, run. Above all, Lucinda had a stern expression that gave off an evil witch, could-be-bad-witch, looks-nothing-like-a-cinnamon, could-kill-you, old-principal vibes. All these characteristics made her smiles deadly. Only those who chose not to be allowed her expressions set them off could withstand her. Luckily, I was one of those people.

Chained By Fate

Chained By Fate

The screaming bounced off the walls, and I moved my hands away to see what was happening as a dark cloud of power washed over us, making me feel sick. More witches appeared on the walls, in the trees, and on the ground. They were all dressed in black, blending into the shadows, and all working for Cain. The force around my legs released as a blood-curdling scream sounded. I quickly scrambled to stand, rushing back to get away from Cain, who was still watching with interest. “How sweet. Your little pet came when he was called. So obedient. It is a shame I have to kill him. I could use more soldiers like that.” Cain mused before turning to Kaiden.

The Pack's Vampire

The Pack's Vampire

“I’m looking forward to a couple of days of home cooked meals, aren’t you?” “Yeah,” Aislen agreed with a stiff smile. She was the closest to Havermouth that she had been in two years. A little over an hour’s drive, and she could be at the river house. She didn’t want to go there, she told herself sternly, not even to peek. “We’ll go back to Kabramatta unable to wear any of our clothes.” “There’s a reason all the witches around here wear floaty layers, it’s to hide the cake-bellies,” Bianca replied as she got out of the car.

Firefly
I didn't realize just how alluring an ancient vampire could really be until I dove into Talen's past and had my heart broken and stolen by the depth of soul in this character. Everleigh has such a gift for creating these characters with so many layers you can't believe they're not real.
