Calico Warrior Cats Novels & Stories

" Ace and Loki observed me, and when Loki lifted his hands to check, I swatted it away casually like a fly. I walked past them and turned when they wouldn't move. "We're gonna be late, let's go," I said, and we went for our first class. Muscat followed me, walking to my left. Every soldier we've passed moved out of the way after seeing Muscat. What Ace said is starting to make sense. Muscat isn't a Bengal cat, after all. To make matters worse, it's a black panther.

OK, so Officer Randell wasn’t pulling my leg. “Told you so Alsie-Alsie. Big cats, and thumbs.” “It’s just Alsie, Detective Alsie. You do know there is a breed of cats with extra digits, right? They’re called polydactyl cats. Polydactyl means extra digits. It’s really, not that weird, uncommon, but not weird.” Not going to lie, a big cat, bigger than a lion being a polydactyl is weird. But I’m not about to tell Office Randell that.

“You should remember to call him crown prince as now we are in Caiwong. I am starting to regret ever touching you if this is how you receive my gift to you.” “You said a gift. Do you understand my blight and how I was able to kill those guards?” “Of course I know of your blights. The mountain tribes from where the Jungpi royal family traces their lineage had a secret cultivation method called Black Cat Venom. Instead of drinking it daily, your mother used the deep anger of your clan’s eradication to turn your blood into a reservoir of it. Unfortunately its proved difficult to control so you were sent back to where it came fromm.”

The fuck. Janice’s face instantly lit up. “Oh! Look!” She crouched down, making soft noises. What was happening right now? The cat hesitated, staring back at her like it was trying to figure out something, then trotted over confidently. No. No. And fucking no. I took several steps back. “Careful, darling! Those things are feral… they carry diseases and they scratch.” She looked up at me, amusement dancing in her eyes. “Calder… are you scared of a little cat?”

And if there’s one thing I’m good at it, it’s taking care of the kitty. As I push aside the Java Jolt cups lining the counter, making space for the bowls and spoons, Callan comes up behind me. “Don’t you fucking touch her,” he growls. I elbow him away. “What, you think I’m that much of an asshole?” “I don’t just think it,” Callan says. “I know it.” “Fuck you, dickhole.” “No, fuck you if you lay a hand on her,” Callan says, bowing up like he’s going to fight me.

Dash looked up at Caldwell with innocent eyes, seemingly understanding as his little mouth parted into a happy puppy smile. Just as Seraphina and Caldwell got into the SUV, a soft, faint meow suddenly echoed. Seraphina was stunned. She looked at the man in the passenger seat in complete surprise. "You keep a cat?" As werewolves, their innate nature usually leaned toward canines. It was exceedingly rare for a werewolf to choose a feline as a pet. However, she watched as Caldwell set down his backpack. Inside lay an incredibly elegant white Devon Rex, wearing a pearl necklace.

"It's better he does it out here than by throwing your silver decorations at my face." Matteo looked out at his nephew, his features completely still. "Julian told me you spent the morning organizing the laundry room for those animals." "They're cats, Mr. Alcantara. They have names," I corrected him, pulling my legs up onto the bench and crossing them. "The orange one is Nacho, the gray one is Smokey, and the little chaotic one is Biscuit. You should try memorizing them. It’s good for your brain."

One big black aggressive cat versus the small pitiful vulnerable white cat. I pitied the helpless cat, and before I could make any move to stop their fight and make the big cat leave the white cat alone, I was taken aback when I saw that Camila angrily threw a stone at the big cat and that finally scared and made the latter run away as fast as it could. I watched her as she walked into the white cat and caressed its fur, establishing a safe and sound connection. "Hey, helpless one. You'll be alright now, don't worry…" she said in a very low, gentle voice.

Trust Izzy and Reese to not use sense and slow down enough for the other warriors to keep up. Does she have the cat with her? Caleb asked. Yes, came the answer back. I could see Ren visibly relax and I understood that. The cat was amazing. I had watched it bite a rogue in half and play with it. I needed to remember to never get on its bad side. It doted on Izzy and I knew it wouldn’t let anything hurt her. I shifted and a second later Caleb joined me, tossing me a pair of athletic shorts that he got from a box near us. I caught the shorts in my hand and put them on as another wail came from Lucy.

Rayne bit the inside of her lip and considered her answer as her cat purred louder at the sound of his voice. Her animal was clearly intrigued by the vampire which was surprising as her cat didn't usually pay much attention to men around her. But something about the vampire had its attention. Maybe it was his question? He was obviously knowledgeable about wildcats. He knew the black panther was not in fact a panther but a member of either the leopard or jaguar family. That would stroke her cat's ego, that this male was asking an intelligent question about its origins. She considered her options and then went for the truth as she knew it.
