“I.. She looks over my shoulder to Alpha Liam and Luna Maddison. “My apologies, but I’ve been informed that dark faes has decided to join forces with your enemy, and that brings me into a position where I must act. I am their Queen, and I have ordered them to stand down, but they have declared war on me instead, and sources say they are already at your pack. I’m so sorry!” I look over my shoulder, they nod and I step aside. The Queen and her maiden, who I realize is bruised and roughed up, enters. “They tried to ambush me. My people. Anilope was the only one who fought on my side and defended me.” The woman blush at the mention. “Give us a second, Balder. We’re just going to settle her majes

I wiped blood from my split lip with the back of my hand and spat red onto the ground. “Last chance,” Selene said, fists clenched at her sides. “Who the hell are you?” I stopped moving. The fight drained out of my shoulders for one heartbeat, then the next. The bond under my ribs pulsed hot and angry, like it knew what was coming. I lifted my chin and looked her dead in the eye, every muscle coiled tight. “I’m not just any Catherine.” Her eyes narrowed to slits. “Then who?” “I'm Catherine The Viper. Queen of the fucking rogues.”

The once-servant girl Dejanira became queen and Asterion was freed to rule the kingdom at her side, but truthfully, the queen did most of the ruling because many thought Asterion was as mad as his war-mongering father and grandfather. As they arrived in the middle, the tone of a bell rang through the darkened passages. His food had been delivered; he motioned for her to stay, but she grabbed his arm. “Don’t get upset. We have a lot to talk about and not much time to do it. Go get your bales and no matter how they smell, bring them back here.” A cat meowed above them, then jumped through the vaulted skylight into the top of a tree and began climbing down with a bag in its mouth.

Fuck, this was nothing of this earth. "I did not invite you in," A voice boomed, both young and old. New and broken. Shivers dug their way up my legs, rattling my knees slightly. "I never thought I would see the Killer Queen tremble this much." A mocking laughed followed. Katharine's teeth were warped, like she had tried prying them from her mouth. Faint outlines of shadow created the illusion of antlers from her head. "What are you?" I mumbled, unable to fully catch my breath. The thing smiled back cruelly and I could hear many civilizations wither and die within each word it spoke afterwards.

Thorne finished. "Exactly," Katerina confirmed. "I don't want a weak queen. Don't want someone we have to constantly protect. The Court needs a warrior. A leader who can fight their own battles. If this girl has that in her, excellent. If not....better we find out now." "And if she refuses the challenge?" another warrior asked. "Then she shows weakness," Katerina said. "Shows she doesn't understand that strength is everything in our world. And I'll know she's not the queen we need."

“So. You have shifted. Congratulations. Few survive the first time without… incident.” Zayla meets her mother’s eyes, refusing to flinch. “You knew we’d be hunted.” “I knew you’d be tested. There is a difference.” The Queen waves a hand, and the cords fall away, burning out like magnesium. “This is my court, not a prison. Yet.” Liam steps forward, voice even. “Your Majesty, we—” “Don’t,” the Queen cuts in, a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. “I know who you are, Prince. Or should I say, Warden? The Council’s favorite lapdog.”

Her hair was falling down and there was blood on her cheek, but she had never looked more wonderful. “Mom!” I called, my voice carrying away on the wind. She didn’t even turn to me, as though I hadn’t spoken at all. “Mom!” “Alpha!” someone else shouted. My mother and I turned in unison. It was my mother’s Beta, Arden. She was holding her right arm, clearly injured, the tip of her sword dragging on the ground. “Arden!” my mother called, rushing to her. “We’re overwhelmed,” Arden panted, glancing around desperately, as though trying to find someone amidst the flurry of warriors and werecats. “Do we retreat?”

I've been looking into it the last few days since I started noticing the signs, even before the attack from her clan. Kennedy is The Leopard Queen, Queen of all leopards, not just our clan. The last Queen of all leopards was over a thousand years ago and she had three mates and the power to heal. Basically everything Kennedy has been able to do since she was a child, the original Queen of leopards could do too and more. The original Queen and her mates lived for nearly three hundred years, or so the legend says.

"Watch her punches Aiden, she telegraphs slightly before letting loose, take advantage of her imbalance!" Deacon set a punishing pace, but the warriors had no problems keeping up. At the front of the pack, Katana demonstrated correct technique to the younger wolves, so he could concentrate on advancing the more experienced men and women. Further, into the island, Scott was teaching tracking fundamentals to the teenagers, while Oliver handled the kitchen. In spite of everything, they were happy here, now that the rot was cut from the pack, and they were confirmed as one of the leading packs of this generation when an invitation came to occupy a seat on the Royal council. After hearing that th

QUEEN KIANA POV 👑 👑 , “Yes,” Idra says, his voice calm as ever. “Meet Queen Kiana.” His hand gestures toward the man beside him. “This is General Carter. One of the most trusted generals in this kingdom. And my friend.” I nod politely. General Carter steps closer without hesitation. His presence is different from the others. Less rigid. Less guarded. He takes my hand. And before I can react, he lifts it and presses a kiss to the back of it.
