Beyond and Wild
Sensing its sadness, I wipe my tears with the back of my hand, and the wolf’s howling fades away.
It lowers itself to the ground, resting its head in my lap. I tentatively begin to stroke its head, my fingers grazing the soft fur. The wolf closes its eyes, leaning into my touch, as if it finds solace in my presence.
A shining blue aura escapes its black shiny fur. So magical, unbelievable. He was glowing.
I lose myself in the comforting rhythm of petting the wolf, the pain of losing my family temporarily overshadowed by the soothing presence of this majestic creature.
