Candace Camp Books Novels & Stories

I was frozen in place, confused at the complete one eighty she just did from wanting to run for the hills just moments ago. “Ugh, those little monsters. Aiden is at sleepaway camp for the entire summer, thank god. Candace left for her father’s early, which could not have been more perfect. Peter and I have been able to spend soooo much more alone time together without her pouting around.” Candace tensed, but didn’t move.

A stranger who turns out to be my sister’s husband. A sister I never knew. A sister who literally walked into the estate, killed someone, and vanished. What the actual fuck is my life? I looked up from my spiraling thoughts as Candice shifted in her seat. She was wearing a tight tank top and one wrong move and her boobs were gonna stage a rebellion and skin-tight jeans that hugged every curve like they had a mission. Someone whistled from behind her. She stood to look, flipping her hair and shooting them a wink.

"Miss Anderson, you'd be staying in my house until you are able to leave on your own and I promise your safety is assured you don't have to feel insecure." "Ok" Camile replied "You would love the place"Elena said "What's your name tyrant father?" sigh this lady sure knows how to piss him off "Please my name is Caleb Campbell" "Ok Caleb" "Shouldn't it be Mr Campbell to you?" "No it's either Caleb or tyrant father. With nothing to refute her with he sighed and the rest of the ride home was silent.

“The author of the book on the Blood Moon Hybrid.” “The what?” Anderson demands, but he’s ignored as I stare at Kathleen. “What book?” “That day,” Kathleen looks worried, “when we all went to the library, she looked up a book on them. Rachel had checked out most of the books, but there was still one, and we got to talking about the author. He lives somewhere around here. There was a sigil on the book. That same sigil was on a tree next to one of the exits of that non-human village. Taylor was asking me questions about it last night. She was worried about not being strong enough despite being the Blood Moon Hybrid. And maybe she decided to go find the author to see if there’s a shortcut to he

her eyes widened, waiting for me to continue, “My grandfather kept everything she’d left behind there in this black trunk. I knew the story and figured there might be something helpful inside. I’d heard of it, but never in a million years did I think she’d have the actual book.” “Were there other demons to choose from inside?” Lilliana’s question forced a smile upon my face as I thought back to the day I’d found that book. I had no fucking idea what I was doing, but it was as if the book was speaking to me. I’d wheeled myself to the storage room after another failed suicide attempt. “Don’t you dare fucking do this to me again,” Cade growled in my head, “Roll your ass back to the room.”

And when I unlocked the cabin door and pushed it open— She gasped. Everything had gone exactly to plan. The fire was already lit, casting flickering light across the wood-paneled walls. Dozens of candles glowed from every shelf and sill, their scent subtle—pine, cedar, and something softly sweet. A tray of chocolates, berries, and cheese was on the rug in front of the hearth, like the beginning of a love letter told in taste and texture. A bottle of champagne rested in a bucket of fresh snow. Two flutes waited nearby. Lilac turned to me, eyes wide. “Makayla…”

I stirred in bed, plagued with memories of Vivianne, my late wife and the rogue King's threats. He struck once. He could strike again. I lost once. Not ready to lose again. Then I heard my door. Her scent reached me in bed before I felt the bed covering shift. Candace slipped into the duvet, in my shirt, her legs bare, her hair dry and let loose spilling over my pillow. So not typical of her to let her hair down. "Luca," her voice was ragged and trembling, "I've eaten, slept, and I swear to fuck I'm not in heat." She shifted closer with one leg over mine, her breath raspy, "Can we?"

When I think of everything that has happened, it is all so small considering where our line started from. Side Note. Hi lovelies, if you haven’t yet. Please give the following books that are connected to this series a read. Tesoro (Cassandria and Matteo’s story) Undercover (Teagan and Antonio Moretti’s story. Angel’s mom and dad) Thanks for reading. Much Love Becca Lou xx

Candace enters her room and finds the candy bag in her drawer. She feels a pinky red slowly crawling through her neck till her cheeks. Last night she was sitting on her bed and reading a book while eating those candies. She didn't enjoy the reading since it turned into a boring love story. Her focus slightly shifted to the candies, the familiar smell was spreading around her, their coffee flavored taste, the slippery feeling they left in her tongue...

I was late morning when Tristan entered the room pulling my head of the book, I looked at him in slight amazement. “We have the conference call in twenty minutes.” He greeted stepping into the room as I looked up. “What?” He asked and I held up the book. “Tristan, this book.” I stated not really knowing how to explain it. “It’s a novel, just a story that I found in the library, but it’s based on a family of werewolves, the two daughters, twins, were born with a special gift, they could produce fire and ice.” I uttered and watched as his brows rose. “They later became joint alphas of the their pack. Do you think this could be the story of the alpha twins that we were looking for?”
