Chapter 19 After the finishing touches, Jayda stared at her just-concluded creation. The two tiers red velvet cake had red crumbs around and layered with dripping like cheese butter frosting coupled with an animated picture of Moana in the middle. It's a couple of minutes past two and she is more than happy to have finished the job on time.

"Now hush up. The first flapjack is always a reject, so whoever wants it must speak up now." Dargan's hand flew into the air. Ciaran's was a second too late. Alvara smiled and plated the first one. There was a hole in the middle from where it got stuck but Dargan didn't complain. Cheese, jam, syrup, and butter were already laid on the counter. Without so much as a second thought, Dargan devoured the thing.

Isabella said reassuringly over her shoulder. I caught Isabella tossing something into the pancake batter and grinned. "Are those bananas and strawberries in the pancakes?" I pressed as I watched Isabella stirred the pancake batter. "Yup." She winked at me. I rubbed my hands together and licked my lips. "Those are my favorite." "Well, have a seat. We have some flapjacks already hot off the press." Darick grabbed a spatula and flipped two pancakes on a plate. He grabbed a few slices of bacon and placed it on the side.

"No, just told him it was a business trip for a week and that I might get a promotion out of it." She nodded and sipped at her drink. "I've always loved these." Mark tasted his own and nodded in agreement. "Nice." "The pastry chef on the Island does a Mojito Sorbet. It's incredible." "Sounds it," Mark replied. "So tell me about the Island then. What's it like?"

It is a small space with shelf-covered walls. There are glass bowls on the shelves, each one of them containing different colors of sweets. Lemon-shaped yellow candies, caramel-flavored sticks, colorful lollipops, red and white sugar canes...Candace enjoys the view and looks at them with enthusiasm. This is a delightful opportunity to act like a little girl who needs her daddy to take care of her. "Ah, sir! They look incredible." She bites her bottom lip and turns around to face the man who watches her intensely. "May I try one of them?"

“These ones have frosting shaped like baby rattles. Is this vanilla or witchcraft?” “Both,” Chelsea said. “Also, don’t eat the ones shaped like dragon eggs—those are filled with lemon-lavender. They bite back.” As more pack members and allies arrived, music played from enchanted speakers (thank you, Chelsea), and the sound of laughter filled the air. There were games—some that involved blindfolded diaper changing and one suspiciously close to axe throwing that Charlie, of all people, dominated. “Did… did he carve that diaper genie out of a tree stump?” Jax asked, slightly alarmed.

I find paper plates, utensils, red plastic cups, and a cake. “I shopped during my lunch today, so Jackson doesn’t need to after work,” Kennedy explains. “It’s difficult for him to leave the store. The thought of him attempting to shop while leaving worried me he would be late tonight.” While speaking, she organizes the paper products at the end of the island. “I hope he arrives before the guests. I want the three of us together when we announce.” I gingerly slip the cake in its clear container from the bag to the island. Spinning it around, I read the decorative baby blue and pale pink frosting. “We Are Pregnant!”

Arwen said as she saw a woman who was holding a little girl by her hand while the girl was holding a pinkish something in her other free hand. “ They do ” Jared answered. “ What's that ” She asked Jared. “ What ? ” “ That pinkish something that little human girl is holding in her hand ” Arwen said pointing at the little girl who was following her mother. Jared followed her line of sight and saw what the little girl was holding and he chuckled. “ It's called candy floss, some call it cotton candy ” He said. “ Candy floss ? ” “ Yes. Want one ? ” “ Yes ” She said and they walked together to the shop where it was sold.

They reached a double door soon, around in the back of the residence, and this one wasn’t a sliding door like the others but a knobbed one. Rio reached the door while Fu reached the other one. Both of them opened the door at the same time and there in the middle of the kitchen was someone they’re looking for. Though someone was beside him. “Oh that is very beautiful, Haato-kun. I didn’t know you can make shapes like these…” An elderly woman with pink yukata was holding a flat, 4-petal flower shaped hardened caramel candy. It was as big as a baby orange, brown-orange in color, and slightly transparent.

At least it kept them from listening to those who insisted that there was no hope in finding any answers this soon. Sandra drew a deep breath as she wiped the moisture from her forehead. She had decided to keep herself busy and baked two apple pies, along with nearly a hundred sugar cookies. She lined the island counter with wax paper, then mixed the food coloring into several bowls with frosting. She helped Brandon and Grace decorate them with sprinkles, jellybeans, candy eyes and gumdrops.
