As we finished up our coffee and said our goodbyes, I turned to Jack and said, "You know, I'm really glad we're friends. You're one of the most entertaining people I've ever met."
Jack grinned. "Thanks, Ava. I'm glad we're friends too. You're one of the few people who can appreciate my unique brand of crazy."
I laughed and shook my head. "I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult," I said.
Jack chuckled. "Take it as a compliment," he said. "I'm a catch, after all."
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly. "Oh, sure," I said. "A catch with a penchant for supergluing his shoes to the floor."
