From what they recovered of Aleta’s body, she had also been gnawed and ripped, but the animals pulling her apart had been a different sort. I shook my hand like it would make the cow manure disappear. “Is he gone?” “Who’s there?” I asked, turning around just in time to see Bridie, Carl, and Shirley walking around the corner of a tent. “Oh, yeah, he is gone.” “Not surprising,” Shirley smirked as they stepped up to me. Carl had my rucksack slung over his shoulder as he puffed away on a cigarette. “Why’s that?” I questioned; I was missing something, that was for sure. “He hates the scent of shit. He thinks it’s beneath him.” Carl flicked his cigarette bud on the grass before grinding it into the ground with the heel of his boot. “There is a reason we don’t have animals...well, besides the fact most have an animal of their own.”

He ignored me and held my hand. “I believe you can help me out with a few things on the bed though.” “No! I do not support that, we are going to shift and go for a run. You are taking advantage of me, and I refuse to accept that!” I spat while pouting. Carl was still trying to answer me when we both turned around, stuck our noses up, sniffing the air. The smell of rotting flesh had filled the air and we both released a low howl and then sprinted towards the window where the stench was strongest.

My phone then beeped with a message from the man who adopted me, my supposed to be uncle, the enlarged Asshole. Asshole : Find a man named Carter Lopez and kill him. I instantly rushed over to her and took her into the basement, "Stay here, don't move."

Beatrix said as both started running around the room. The door opened and Carl who was dressed in a white T-shirt and black Nike shorts came into the room. There was a bear headband on his head. "Hi, Mr Carl. Just so you know, that headband makes you look... let me not say it." Beatrix had seen Lavana's meaningful glance just now and so didn't continue with her words. Despite her obvious painful weakness and nobody else being in the corridor, Zomzom had no desire to attack.
