“You should have.” I go into my office. I close the door. I stand with my palm flat on the closed door for one moment. Then I go to my desk. The Carlisle meeting runs forty minutes. *At the academy* Carl arrived at the academy in the morning, as he informed the academy's security officers that he's here to see James Maxwell, that he has some packages for him from his parents. So the security officers obliged and they sent for James to come and receive his visitor. After some minutes, James arrived at the academy security unit. He was told to go with his visitor to the academy's visitors center. After James and Carl got to the visitors center, James wasn't feeling comfortable around him, as he begins to ask Carl some questions. "Who do you say asked you to come to see me?" With a curious and suspicious look on his face towards Carl, James questioned him.

"You don’t need to be embarrassed, Isabel. As I said, you’re part of the family, and my mom, my dad, and my sisters all know I’ll take you with me. They even said I should bring you along. Also, you need this too, after everything that happened with your mom. Several female students, and almost the entire female faculty, was staring at Carlisle. He was wearing a tailored black tuxedo with a black bowtie, and it didn't look like something that could be rented, or even easily purchased. It fit him impossibly well. Was it...designer? She wondered briefly how Carlisle could have gotten a tuxedo like that, but the thought was fleeting once she allowed herself to really appreciate how expertly it fit his body.
