CARLA "Mommy, will I have a mate when I grow up?" My head snapped up to look at beautiful grey eyes which mirrored mine. Not only that. THE PAST. OSCAR'S POV. “Jeho, may I introduce you to me children, Caroline and Tyler.” Alpha Killian says, gesturing to both his kids. Tyler looks like the younger of the two and as for Caroline she's tall, like really tall, blonde, has a model like body but that's not what's grabbing my attention, it's her eyes. They are two different colors, one is purple and the other is blue, it's a rare phenomenon, I've forgotten what they call it.

He then sneaked a peek at Lucas, horrified, and was thinking how Lucas managed to read his mind. “Honorable demon, we the Four Trial Ancestry…” Chucky had yet to complete his statement and was being cut short by Lucas. Lucas then said slowly, “I, Lucas the demon, never once fancied people who tell lies. I think you ought to think twice before speaking.” The head of the Four Trial Ancestry, Chucky, heard it and was trembling, and looking at Lucas, horrified. “Honorable demon, the Four Trial Ancestry still indeed have one more treasure but it’s being sealed,” Chucky said after facing Lucas.

“Someone seems curious about the legend.” My head snaps to the right to locate the source of the voice. Caroline, the same woman that tackled the huge man to the ground, is staring at me with a hint of amusement in her eyes. She takes a step forward, the silt on her gown exposing her milky thigh with each soft movement, and she takes her time to stare at the carving. Caroline's hair is in a high ponytail, exposing her slender neck and collarbone. She effortlessly carries this air of grace, danger, like a temptress that knows her charm.

She groaned in frustration. *Carly Tartal, the demoness who thinks wealth solves it all for her. Guess what? She's of the supernatural. "Right," I murmured. Caroline looked up at us, the final piece of the puzzle locking into place behind her eyes. "Then whoever kidnapped her wasn't just a human thug. Whoever took her is someone who has supernatural powers. And they know exactly what you are." Kian stared at her, a profound sense of awe breaking through his agonizing panic.
