Pop! I jerk. “Ouch! Ouch! Stop!” Chloe yelps, jumping around, dropping her gun. Her overalls are covered with black paint. The shooting stops. “Take that bitch!” Jackson wails, looking like a regular villain, weapon still aimed at Chloe. Pop! Pop! Two more shots land on her chest. “Stop it!” she cries, tears in her eyes. But it wasn’t Jackson this time. “You deserved that for shooting Mel and my brother,” Luke jumps up and down and gives Jackson a high-five. “Bitch!” he says then. Jackson winks at him. Justice is served.

Characters Jackson: a 27-year-old reclusive artist who lives near the edge of the Blackpine Forest. She's grounded, sharp-witted, and recovering from a toxic relationship. Henry Fodger: a 34-year-old unhinged, dominant werewolf who’s been watching her from the shadows, convinced she belongs to him. Scarred, rough, and dangerous. . . .

“I’d show you, but something tells me you’d be a little adverse to it.” Chuck laughed at his own joke. He wasn’t wrong though; I wasn’t exactly chomping at the bit to see his silver lined cages. I could only image the hell other wolves had experienced being stuffed inside them. I tried to remind myself that Chuck only hunted dangerous supes, not wolves just going about their daily lives. “How do you propose we go about catching one of these monsters?” I asked, hoping to distract myself from the images of silver searing into wolf flesh that were currently playing in my mind.

Kai shrugged unrepentantly. "He's acting like a five year old douchebag who thinks he knows what's right for him." He was breathless with rage. The others blinked in agreement as Jake punched the trunk of a nearby tree, splitting it in two. It plummeted behind him with a booming sound. His friends stepped away as they stared at him in amazement while the guard and some of the cops guarding the school gate rushed inside only to find Jake turning into his werewolf and leaping off of their heads to exit the school premises.

Jake warned continuously in a hushed tone and gritted teeth, spreading his arms wide in demonstration. " I know what I'm doing. Just follow me and shutup" Hunter Logan half-turned to say and continue towards the alley shortly after. Jake was stomped and infuriated for a moment. He looked around once again and hesitated for a while to continue towards the alley with the hunter. However, he followed behind him nonetheless. Despite the danger he had no choice but to follow behind the crazy hunter, entering the alleyway along with him. Jake looked around the stained walls in the alleyway and saw that there was no one around. He was slightly relieved as he'd been scared that a group of Wild werew

Wayne drew a deep breath and howled as loud as he could, hoping the windows of this place didn't dampen his call for aid, he didn't care who heard him, as long as his pack does, but he was quickly silenced and Kaylee screamed. "I never really liked wolves, they're so smelly, and dirty, foaming at the mouth, craving that disgusting flesh of whatever they hunt" Hector held himself in front of Kaylee and built another attack. "Who are you!?" He yelled seeing the figure drop the decapitated head on the floor. "That's Vlad Hector" Kaylee almost whispered. He suddenly realised if he is here, then Japser surely didn't make it, he backed slightly making certain he had Kaylee close "What do you want?

And she knew just the person. Natalia stomped out of the school and flagged down a cab, heading straight to the outskirts of the town to a small farm. It was run by a man named Jake, who used it as his base to carry out his secret agency, running a small but efficient spy network. Jake was a human, but he knew about the existence of werewolves and other supernatural beings. He had contacts and clients from all walks of life. He was famous for being discreet, professional, and expensive.

There is no way he would have heard me from that distance except. He made his way over to us and his scent hit me like a ton of bricks. He’s a werewolf. I can’t get anything other than that because one of the side effects of the potion is I can’t smell people’s ranks or packs. “I’ll see you later Charlie,” Mrs. Wiggins said with a wink as she hurried off; traitor. He set down the things he had picked and I began to ring them up. “So Charlie,” he began and I just gave him a small hum in response, “I’m Jake.”

Jake replied bitterly, “If you did not ask me to help you take revenge on Mr. Wade’s father-in-law, how could I have possibly offended Mr. Wade?” Then, Jake hurriedly looked at Charlie with tears in his eyes before he said, “Mr. Wade, this old man has been telling me all about how I should help him ridicule you and your father-in-law today. He is the one who made me offend you and your father-in-law! He is the culprit! He is the one you should chop up and feed to the dogs!”

“Yeah. I’d like that.” Kyle didn’t need to be asked twice. He scooted over, making room for Jake on the floor. “I’m the truck driver,” Kyle declared proudly, holding up a bright yellow dump truck. “You can be the police car. We need to catch the bad guys!” Jake knelt down, sitting cross legged beside him, picking up a police car that had been left abandoned on the edge of the play area. “Alright, partner. Let’s go catch those bad guys.”
