I whispered, looking up at the towering, twisting tracks of steel that seemed to disappear into the clouds. ​"What? Scared?" August gave me a dark, satisfactory smile. He looked at me as if he were waiting for me to beg him to stop.

Coco got a recharge card and dragged Lucas along to queue and play on some of the rides. "I thought you'd be too shy to play with me," Coco told Lucas as they got off the roller coaster. This roller coaster was her favorite ride as a child. However, it was tiny and not very fast, unlike the adult roller coasters in newer parks. Coco remembered begging her dad to take her on this ride every time she visited the amusement park. "It is a little embarrassing, but I don't mind doing it with you," Lucas murmured. Coco gave him the sweetest smile and said, "Since you don't mind, let's try something else."

“I’ll protect them!” The operator raised his brow. He answered, “Kid, you are only a child, and your nanny can’t ride either because this roller coaster can only accommodate kids. I’m sorry, but your two cousins can't meet the height requirement.” “This is unfair!” Sebastian stomped his feet. “I’ll tell Daddy!” “Can we just go there?” Alisa pointed to the carousel. Sebastian made a face. “We have done that like two times already.” He spotted the flying Dumbo ride and said, “Maybe we can go there?”

" I grabbed onto the bar of the machine and began to climb it while sitting down in a nearby seat. It was an exhilarating ride that felt more like flying than anything else and by the time we finished the first few loops we were already laughing and shouting as if the world didn't exist. It was fun, but also kind of weird to be hanging off of a giant piece of machinery, especially when you couldn't really tell where it was going. But I guess that was what thrillers were all about; they always came full circle. Afterwards, we decided to walk through the rest of the attraction which included another roller coaster. We came across the giant ferris wheel and I looked up at its height with awe. T

I lamented. "Baby, look over there. They have a monkey-themed ride. It's cute and safe. How about we try that instead?" Colin suggested, trying to lift my spirits. He pointed to a ride at the entrance, where the line was shorter. The so-called monkey-themed ride was essentially a circular controller with radial arms supporting small carts, each with a little monkey figurine in a red jacket pulling it. When the switch was turned on, the monkeys would bounce in unison, as if pulling the carts, while a saccharine tune, "The World's Greatest Mother," played.

“Walk faster, mummy.” We reached and a new sight of multiple rides all lined up, waiting to be climbed on, colored the environment. There were a variety of bumper cars and boats, some unicorn and griffin carousels, double shot rides, flying scooters, slides, hayrides, loop the hoops, pirate ships, fantastic roller coasters, teacups, zippers, and the star of the show—the Ferris wheel. I wondered how they got all these here and it was impossible to believe that tomorrow, they’d all be gone.

Graham could really enjoy himself, and I'd just be claiming the expense off Neil anyway. We went straight to the roller coaster designed with a science-fiction aesthetic. I'd seen reviews claiming the faint-hearted could pass out on the spot, and even the bolder ones were said to feel their hearts thumping afterward. I played along whilst he showed off his pearly whites. "Taken lady. May we?" He pushed the seat backwards. "We may my lord." I arose,taking his arm in mine as we advanced to the bumper cars section. "I'll take the red car with the fire sticker!" Junior screamed out joyfully. " I'll take the black one." I said between breaths as we ran towards our cars ready to battle it down with a few more people in the arena.

There were roller coasters, carousels, and other rides, as well as games, food stands, and other attractions. We decided to start with the roller coasters, so we got in line for the biggest one. The line was long, but we didn't mind. Then we talked and joked, making the wait seem shorter. I didn’t know that Xander was capable of making a person laugh. His personality was a beautiful one, and I was happy to have him by my side, even if it felt like a Cinderella time, like it was going to last for a short while. I giggled and ran to get dressed in jeans and a peasant blouse. I felt like a kid again when we entered the park. A calliope played in the distance while a Ferris wheel spun to my right. The Thrillinator towered over the left side of the park. The coaster boasted a drop of two hundred feet and two loops when the riders were upside down. Victor and I exchanged a look and headed for the coaster. I wondered if warming up on a smaller ride would be a good idea, but the colossal coaster pulled us like a magnet.
