His scent was strong and alluring, his steps were calculating, and his cold stare was fixed on me, who was busy with my makeup. I turned to the door and saw Casper standing before me glaring at me. Casper was tall with a muscular body that Glen could not intimidate when he said, "Who do you think you are? You are just a dog!" Casper smirked and said, "Yes, I am a dog. A very, very..." He did not finish what he was saying. He immediately grabbed Glen's neck. Casper strangled Glen using one hand that the two ladies went running out of fear. "I am a very scary wolf!" Glen was choking as he was trying to breathe, but Casper tightened the grip on his neck. "Listen to me! You will follow what I say. Do you hear me?" Glen tried to nod, and Casper let go of him. He was coughing loudly and breathing heavily.

Casper materialised from thin air, gripping the Beta's collar with intense urgency, lifting him off the ground as easily as one might pluck a daisy. "Funny?" Casper spat fire in his eyes. "Is it funny that lives have been ripped away in other packs? You think our losses are fake, too?" The Beta’s glare matched Casper’s, brimming with disdain, an inkling of Reed’s own scheming sneer playing over his features.
