The Psi Wolf
Cassius froze, his cigarette glowing bright orange as he stared down at my skinny, shivering form.
He reached out, his bare hand wrapping around my small jaw, his ice-cold thumb wiping the wetness from my skin with a sudden, possessive roughness that made my core throb. "I am a prince of the dark, Lyra; nobody forces me to do anything, and if I want to burn a wolf keep for your amusement, I will."
My breath hitched at the freezing, electric sensation of his touch, my wet center tightening against my clothes as his possessive scent flooded my senses. "I cannot pay you back for the blood-gems, Cassius; I have no inheritance."
