Cassidy Boon Novels & Stories

[Madness] SIERRA Come on Sybil! Where are you? I could sure use your help right about now. Cassidy dropped her mother’s body, placing her hand over her father’s face. She then lunged at King Darien, screaming vehemently. Darien side stepped her and she went tumbling behind him.

I ordered my men furiously. I felt like I wanted to smash my phone to the ground or shot the sky aimlessly with my gun to just let this negative energy out of my system. But then Cassie would be scared if she saw my dark side unintentionally. "Who the hell is Carina? Who is she? Is she the one who made the bomb prank? Tell me," Cassie grabbed my arm and demanded my explanation. Her eyes were straight looking into mine and I didn't know how I should explain to her about this now.

Cassidy was pouring herself another shot, while Breyona grabbed a few containers of ice cream from the freezer. “We’re just teasing…” Cassidy giggled and tossed back the strong-scented liquor. Her perfect pout remained in place even though I knew her throat must be burning. “…I think every she-wolf dreams of meeting her mate that way. It’s just so strange seeing Asher wrapped around someone’s finger with how untouchable he can be.”

"Cassidy." "I know." "Cassidy Eloise Lane. " "I know, Avery." "You drunkenly married Damien Blackwood." "Yes." "The Damien Blackwood." "Yes." "The one Tristan has talked about at every family dinner for three years." "Yes." "The one Tristan once called, and I quote, the most powerful man under forty in American business. " "Yes." "The one whose holiday party Tristan has been systematically excluded from — " "Avery." "Sorry. Sorry. I am processing. Give me one second."

The crying had disturbed one who had been weaned and raised on the notion that weakness was to be shown only to close family, if ever. And now she was sitting close to the fireplace, a blanket round her and a warm mug of wine clasped in her small hands. “I’m searching for my sister,” she said. “They said she had been taken across the border. I’ve never been this far south before.” “What’s your name, girl?” Drago asked, holding up his hand when he saw that Xander was about to speak. “Cassie,” she said. “That is, Princess Cassandra of Alba. And if you ever come across Adam Campbell, tell him I hate him and I wouldn’t marry him now if he were the last person in the land.”

Or maybe it was just me—still trembling from what I’d seen, still raw with the new understanding of the world I’d willingly stepped into. Cassidy sat in the center of the room, legs crossed as if she were at brunch instead of bound to a steel chair with her wrists tied behind her. Her hair was still perfectly curled. She wore lipstick. The audacity. “Well, if it isn’t the corpse bride,” she sneered, coughing up a bit of red. I stood behind the desk where Icarus leaned silently, arms crossed. He’d handed this one to me. Said it was mine if I wanted it. And God, I did.

Instead, she glanced back at Steven's body, "In that case it shouldn't sound so surprising to you that I need to eat. It's been almost two decades since I last had a meal." "I have a fridge filled with blood bags. O negative. Just the ones you love." Kyle replied, flashing her a warm smile. Cassidy still didn't take his hand as she walked ahead of him. With a small smile, the man retracted his hand and placed both behind his back as he walked alongside her. "I don't want blood bags, Kyle. I need to feed from a living human. Someone who's heart pumps warm blood. And since I know you won't let me do that to any of your pack members, I'll gladly go to New Jersey." She said and disappeared.

As much as Cassidy had felt perhaps she was more Vampire than Hunter since the hunt the night before, now she was quite certain who the good guys were and who were the “bad men.” Under the circumstances, there was only one thing to do. Blocking the pictures flickering through her mind, Cassidy brought her knee down hard on Bonnie’s right leg, pinning that side of her as she let go with her right hand. The blood on her palms made securing a grip difficult, but she pulled the Glock from her waist and brought it around. “Mama! Mama! No! No! No! Please!” Bonnie screeched, reading what was coming in Cassidy’s mind. “You promised! You promised to keep me safe!”

Cassie told the girls goodnight and went to join the guys up on the deck. "There you are," Nathan said as Cassie approached them. "Sorry I took so long I found out something interesting from Janice." Cassie said. "Oh, and what was that?" Nathan asked as he put his arms around Cassie as they stood by the railing of the ship. Norman and Jacob were standing a short distance away smoking cigars. "Susan is definitely a half blood, and Janice is a shape shifter wolf, your father knew this when he approved of us adopting her." Cassie told them.

“You have your own life now.” Cassidy took a slow breath. He was right. Six years ago, Dylan had watched her beg for help and driven away. She had survived without him. She wasn't that helpless woman anymore. Cassidy straightened her black evening gown. Her hair was pinned neatly in a bun, and around her neck was a custom necklace Rodel had given her. She reached for the door. “Let's go.” Rodel smiled. The moment Cassidy stepped from the car, camera flashes exploded around them.
