The Moon Shadow
The ground is covered with fallen leaves and rotten mangoes that have dropped from the trees and haven't been cleaned up by anyone.
I gaze to the south, the direction Aunt Mary is coming from, waiting for the bus to stop here. A white Chevrolet stops in front of me. The car window rolls down, revealing a man's face, about 30 years old. His complexion is pale, and there are a few wrinkles on his face, with a not-so-thick dark brown curly hair. He looks somewhat familiar, probably from our pack, but I can't recall his name.
"Hey! Are you waiting for someone?" he calls at me. His voice is sticky, as if there's phlegm stuck in his throat.
