Cass followed me to my chamber to ensure I was okay even though I kept insisting the near-death experience was in the past and I'm perfectly well. I stared at everything in the room but Cass. He looked devilishly handsome today when he swept into the cemetery to save my life. He has on dark jeans and black polo that says 'I'm the hottest being you will see today.' His brown hair is tousled and his olive skin looks more moisturized and I'm betting the weather has something to do with it. How he can be so overconfident and cocky simultaneously often amazes me most times. I stared at the ancient mythological books on the table that surrounds us, we were busy making research on Lucindo and hopin

I mumbled to myself upon remembering one almost-forgotten detail. I dug a hand into my pocket once again and fished out a rose, made from an intricately folded piece of black paper. It was our guild’s signature to leave black paper roses after corpses that we assassinate. I’ve always found the practice insignificant, but I guess the higher-ups wanted to take credit in all those kills so bad. “What a waste,” I stared at the second arrow I shot, pinning the rose into the wooden door of his carriage. But finally, my work was done.

I miss feeling so safe I'm their arms. During our stops, I would glance back at the convoy of vehicles following us along with most of the warriors in their wolves or lycan forms running besides the vehicles. The warriors of different packs and their Alphas along with several lycans. The vampire had left hours ago as they find it very uncomfortable to travel at night. So it was left me just the wolves and lycans. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the sprawling grandeur of Castlevania came into view. The crowd outside roared with thunderous applause, their excitement palpable. I could help but feel so welcome, I knew they had come to wish us

I asked blankly. "Of course! You're going to be sold to the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack for a much higher price, which breaks the highest selling price the castle has ever had. You broke the record!" Mistress Hawthorne flashed a smug smile, very pleased with my sale. "Hurry up! Now follow me back!" She urged me, impatiently. I got out of the cage and jumped out of the truck, landing on one foot. Even though I was very careful, I still touched my injured right foot.

I wasn't the first Vaewolf, and I highly doubted that I would be the last. "What was so bad about being a mixture of two prominent predators?" I murmured curiously, and my wolf Raksha chuckled along with my vampire Morgana. “They lack the vision of its greatness,” Morgana purred in my mind, and I laughed. The Alpha eyed me incredulously as he held the red glowing brand in his fist. “We will see if you continue to laugh after this scorching metal is pressed against your back flesh.” Wincing, I narrowed my eyes as the skin on my back sizzled. Seeing Devan's eyes widen at me, I swallowed hard and then pinched my mouth so I wouldn't scream from the pain.

Ava's POV: My dress was ripped to shreds! I sank to my knees as I gathered the pieces of the material. I liked this dress, I made it with scraps of my mother's old clothes. Tears blurred my vision and then there was a loud knock on the door. “Ava, you have exactly five seconds to move from where you are currently sitting," I heard Iris say, and just as I got to my feet, he kicked down the door. Iris looked murderous; his eyes had taken on the golden hue that I had come to associate Lucien with. He was mad as he looked the room over.

She knew she would jump into his bed with just a snap of his fingers. Castelo knew very well what she was thinking. Shuddering in disgust, he sped past her to his car. Of course, Ana, who thought she was irresistible to all men, didn't understand why Castelo wasn't falling at her feet. Damont sniffed the air. The smell, a sea breeze, wafted through the air, bringing relaxation to the nerves. Vinca had painstakingly created this fragrance and it was for her personal use and refused to produce it for sale.

“Princess Anna’s family was condemned by their people and someone tried to overthrow the king. Her father was enraged and sent men to kill the child as he valued his throne more than his own blood. That’s when Princess Anna thought that the best thing they should do was to take you away from this world and bring you to the land of humans. However, Lord Vincentius had to remain as he needed to cast a spell in the portal so that no one with ill plans against you can enter it. A spell that will cost the caster’s life.” The window’s glass turned into a mirror. Lucius stepped back and gestured Lanver to stepped forward. Lanver advanced and stopped just a meter away. But he didn’t see his reflecti
