SERAFINA'S POV : The drive to the school was quiet, when I came down from the car I was amazed by the huge school I saw. "Wow", I said amused. "The name of your new school is Celestia Academy my princess", Papino said. "It is beautiful", I said in awe. "Shall we go inside", Papino said stretching his hands towards me. Alonzo was by my side and so was his father. Celestia Academy is a vibrant and welcoming educational institution, nestled among lush greenery and colorful flora. The building's architecture is a blend of modern and whimsical elements, with curved lines and circular shapes that evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity.

I kill the engine and the quiet that follows is deafening. For the first time since we left the school, I really look at her. Celeste. She’s staring out the window, her arms crossed, her whole body angled away from me like she’s trying to make herself smaller. Like she wants to disappear.

Aria and Maureen joined the other students and sat down. A while later, Celeste Rowan climbed up to the stage to address all the students. Students cheered as she took the microphone. “Welcome to Etoile Culinary Academy” Celeste started, a big smile on her face. “Welcome to the biggest culinary academy in the country. Your acceptance here, means you’re one of the best there is out there. Congratulations to everyone of you here. Elara clutched the straps of her small bag with trembling fingers, her eyes wide as she stood in the center of the grand Velmora Academy cafeteria. Calling it a cafeteria was an absolute insult. The space was cavernous, designed with high, vaulted stone ceilings, floating crystal chandeliers, and long, polished mahogany tables. It looked like a five-star Michelin restaurant, packed with elaborate buffet stations that served everything from roasted venison and caviar to imported delicate pastries.

The air cracked like thunder, and in the space of a heartbeat Celeste vanished, leaving only silence, the faint scorch of power in the air, and her family staring at the empty place where she had stood. Lysandra lowered her hand slowly, tears bright in her eyes, “She’s gone.” “Not gone,” Cedric said grimly, turning toward the snowy path that led away from WinterMoon. “She’s in the city. And now it’s our turn to follow.”

CAPITAL OF THERIA: VELMORE. ALPHA ACADEMY: ORIENTATION DAY. It is finally time. My car rolls to a stop at the front of the academy. I take one final look in the mirror before stepping out.
