Alpha's Singer

Alpha's Singer

“Lots of food, music, and pretty lights. But there are mainly two parts to it.” He holds up two fingers. “The Moon Dance and the Blood Hour.” The what hour? I echo out my curiosity. And Noel’s eyes darken, just a little. “The Blood Hour is basically a Hunt. For the Omegas in the pack. The higher-ranked wolves play hide-and-seek with us for an hour, and they are allowed anything except for murder.” My mouth drops open. You’ve got to be kidding me. “Anything?” His lips purse solemnly. Then he nods, and I can’t help but see a bit of memory flicker through his eyes. I can tell it isn’t anything that’d bring a smile.

Azian (Prince of Dragons)

Azian (Prince of Dragons)

she replied softly her eyes downcast. "Celeste?" Azian echoed, "Legions mate." At this, all of them held their breaths, "there is a story of a king who promised more than he could give, who sparked a hatred so deep, it turned a soul rotten to the core," Erania shook her head, her lava hair sticking down her intricate back where all sort of markings were spread, "there is a magic that began at the beginning of time, Magic so dark even gods have no say,"

A beautifully write tale that transports you from one world to another. The descriptions allow your minds eye to be in the story. Not a typical girl meets boy romance that allows for a guess whats next read. This tale has a creative dynamic that is rarely seen in todays writings.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love the characters and how well you have them interact with each other. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much when reading a book. Even though I had an inkling on where the story might go, I preferred to follow along with your storytelling instead.

Aurora and the Heart of Magic

Aurora and the Heart of Magic

AURORA’S POV I couldn’t have imagined such a death even in my darkest fantasy; suspended in the air, surrounded by candles with weird fragrance. My death meant the return of someone very evil. It also meant the death of my little girl. I tried to use my magic but it was all in vain. My body was drained of all strength. Despair had taken root in my heart and had grown like Cuscuta engulfing my heart; draining it of the tiniest bit of hope that was left.

Destiny

Destiny

If we hold them off a little bit longer Asher and Annabelle will be safe and they will be able to help. I am starting to get tired now, using all this magic is draining me, I know this is a bad sign as I was fine usuing my magic before. I keep concentrating on the giants as Arizer keeps shooting arrows at the scorpion creatures. When he is nearly out of arrows again, I use my air magic again and bring them back to him. They are cover in blood and muck now, you can hardly tell what they are made of. Asher and Annabelle come flying out of their doors when the sun finally goes down, as soon as Asher is out he shouts

The Wrong Mate, The Right Alpha

The Wrong Mate, The Right Alpha

Mara Morning arrives gradually. Not gently nothing in the past twenty four hours merits that term but softly enough that the world doesn't instantly break me again when I wake up. Sheer curtains let in pale, circumspect light, as though even the sun knew better than to rush me. The room has a subtle scent of crushed herb and something sweet and metalic that I know is magework. Traditional magic. cautious magic. Grounding magic. I lie still for a moment cataloging myself.

When There Is Magic

When There Is Magic

It was hand written. She went on, flipping the book and stopping to read through some parts of it. It was a book about spells and she found herself laughing at the silliness of the thought that magic was still in existence. Some of the spells in the book made Matilda to shake her head and conclude that the book had been written during the time that witches existed. Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients.

Pursuing Mr. Perfect (While Hiding My Fangs)

Pursuing Mr. Perfect (While Hiding My Fangs)

Ming's POV I'd always thought "dawn" was a poetic way of saying "early morning." I was wrong. Dawn was 5:47 AM, and it was absolutely brutal. "Why does magical training have to start so early?" I mumbled as Kamon and I climbed into the Council's van, where Khun Siriporn and Khun Ratchanee were waiting with cups of coffee that smelled like heaven. "Because magical energy is strongest in the hours just after sunrise," Khun Ratchanee explained cheerfully. "The veil between worlds is thinnest when day and night meet."

June Summerfield

June Summerfield

Ivy Brown
she leaned over the counter to whisper the ending to June like it was some big secret. “Would you?” June perked up. Marge showed her the spell and making an opening motion with her hands, an image popped up. It showed they had around 2 days before the attack. Just enough time to finish preparing. June took off to practice her magic more, trying to perfect all she could. Hunter would sometimes watch her practice, proud of the rapid progress she made in such a short time. “You know, I’m proud of far you’ve come.” he said, closing the bedroom door shut behind them.

 Magic in the Moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight

I didn't have the first clue and a small whine escaped from me as I tried to figure it out. Derek understood my dilemma, "Just relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate hard on being human. The magic should do it automatically." I took a deep breath and tried to picture myself as I looked in the mirror. I put all my will into that thought and concentrated on becoming human. It took me a long moment, but I felt the world begin to melt and shimmer around me. I ended up crouched on the table completely naked.
