## Chapter 127 ice Grimoire Complete **Storm Academy, Utah** **September 8, 2032 – Morning, Library Wing** The Ice Ability Grimoire was finished before breakfast. That was the part that still felt a little unreal, even to Celeste. The final draft had spent the better part of two days moving between her office, Rowan’s console, the ward chamber, and the curriculum hall, but now it sat sealed in a crystal-backed case on the central reading table of the library wing. Pale blue script glimmered along its cover. The binding had been reinforced with frost-silver thread, and the first completed volume gave off a faint, cool resonance that made the air around it feel cleaner somehow.

"It is Draven. He is fine." A pause. "Of course he is," Darius said quietly. The librarian spent the next ten minutes carefully examining the fallen shelf, the scattered books, and the damaged railing. Kael helped stack the books into neat piles. Several of them had fallen open to random pages, and as he collected them, one caught his eye. He picked it up. The title on the open page read: On The Nature of Probability Manipulation in Pre-Civilization Eryndor. Kael read the first paragraph.

A path opened behind Elara and Kael, leading upward toward what looked like the sky, even though they were still inside. “Go,” the voices whispered. “Take what you have found. Share it wisely. That is the only protection it needs.” Elara reached out and lifted the chronicle. It felt light, almost weightless, but full like it held a thousand stories all waiting to be told. She held it close, then took Kael’s hand. They looked back once. Malakor and Vane were already retreating, the dark magic fading around them, the entrance behind them starting to close up again. Then they turned and walked into the glowing path ahead, leaving the cave behind them, carrying the truth with them.
