Chad remained silent, waiting for the right time to react. A tattoo bearing the surname 'Stanson' seemed to be branded on his back, confirming Chad’s suspicion further. But did he need to do this? He glanced towards Jade. She was still sound asleep, showing no signs of waking. Just then, Levi Stanson whisked off his scarf, providing Chad a clear view of his facial features. He was incredibly handsome, albeit that a long scar extended from his cheek to below his chin. Could that be the reason he hadn’t wanted to appear before Jade directly? Chad wondered.

She chuckled and got up. No sooner had she done so did Dagon stroll into the room. "There's a man here to see you. But he has refused to give his name." Dagon reported and Drexa finally snapped. "Then chase him out!" "You're still so bitter and bad tempered, Drexa." A man's calm voice floated into her eyes and she looked behind Dagon to see a face she hadn't seen in two centuries. "Chad Braxton." She called calmly, forcing a smile, "I didn't realize you were back to the land of the living."

He points to a photo where Dale is shaking hands with another man. "I'm not sure who that is yet, but there's a tattoo on his hand. A 'M' crossed out. I believe Dale works for him, and they're after whatever secret Hera knows." My blood turns cold as I look at the tattoo. "That can't be right," I murmur. It must be a mistake. It can't be him."

I tilted my head as I examined Soren. "And your mate is Cassie from the library, right? I met her earlier today, she seems nice." Soren shook his head. "No, I haven't met my mate yet."

Sounds firm, but polite and far from arrogant. That was the impression that at least Damian caught. Makes him believe that this man has positive values.
