The woman climbed a short ladder and began pulling down a few books. “These should help,” she said, setting five large, dusty tomes on a nearby table. “Sorry about the condition they’re ancient. Let me know if you need anything.” “Thank you,” Anna said as the woman walked away. Rhea and Anna sat cross-legged on the floor beside the table, surrounded by the stack of heavy books. Their covers were worn, their spines cracked, and the pages yellowed with time. Each had a unique title: 'Tales of the Mystical Creatures', 'Powers', 'Hidden Behind the Voice', and two others with faded letters too difficult to read.

Both books are combined together, and Abhimanyu's book is titled *Taken: King's Rights Reserved*. ... Thank you, ShineeSunshine ❤️

then they dragged the animals, attaching the ropes to the bookcase near the entrance. Then each of those creatures started pulling the strings, when they saw that they dragged the shelves knocking the books down, the lion fire was spreading through the shelves, setting them on fire, every one of the books, incinerating, there was nothing left along the way. They ran without stopping, wild through the corridors, when the beasts chased them roaring, when they began to gnaw the ropes, chasing them, while a huge monster like a chimera, appearing between the shelves, destroying the building and the books in pursuit.

she replied. "Yes, Goodbye." Charles replied without even looking up, going over the hard-copy schematics of the overseas bridge for the umpteenth time. Joanne looked back at him one more time before shutting the double doors. At her desk, Charles' butler was already waiting for her. "If the madam would please-"the butler said. Joanne packed her empty hand bag and followed the man out. Her thoughts only anticipating what tomorrow could bring... ********************************* Flip, flip, flip. The light rustles of the notebook periodically sliced the solid air of silence in the room that evening. The room was dark save for the small flashlight in Joanne's hand, and the breeze occasionally

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED TYLA Point of View The chains shook with every step I took, a constant reminder that I was held captive. Five steps from the bed to the window. Seven to the bathroom door. Twelve to the bookshelf in the corner. I had counted them all, memorized the exact length, learned precisely how far I could go before the metal bit into my ankle and brought me up short. Days had passed since I had been locked in my room. How many, I couldn't be sure anymore. The window offered glimpses of daylight and darkness, but in my disfigured state, everything began to blue. I couldn't distinguish between day and night. I limped across the room, the chain dragging behind me like a reluctant shad

Saturday morning, after breakfast, Don gave Caroline the three books together. Not the individual copies, which she had received over the years of their publication—The Inside Account in the fifteenth year, The Ground Keeps in the sixteenth, The Emergent World in the eighteenth. She had read each one when it was published, had written to them about each one, and had discussed them with Ernest and Don on subsequent visits. But Don had had a set bound together: The Inside Account and The Ground Keeps and The Emergent World in a single volume, the three books bound in dark green leather with a title stamped in gold on the spine: THE INSIDE ACCOUNT / THE GROUND KEEPS / THE EMERGENT WORLD.

Something's really blooming, he thought to himself before he grinned. Chloe sat at the chair in front of many books she chose and let out a deep breath. The heat from her face was already gone but Jared's words still rang through her ears. The brunette quickly shook her head to keep out any unnecessary thoughts at the moment and focused on the large book she was holding. She ran her fingers across the name. The cover was mystical and she could feel the power that radiates from it. Master Hunn sure loved History. "The Magical History," she recited in a gentle voice. Chloe opened the book and her eyes widened.

“Library huh? She sure is a bookworm.” Chia walked up the stairs and headed straight for the library. Upon entering, she immediately saw Tina at the main desk reading a book. Hearing the door that was slammed open, Tina jolted in surprise. “Oh, it’s just you Chia.” She fixed her glasses that were slightly misplaced after she jolted. “What are you reading there?” Chia strode over to the desk and looked at the book. “Oh, I was just trying to learn some Advanced tier magic structures.”

Maybe there are clues in there. Reiya: That is pointless. Ban: Why would that be? Reiya: The contents of all 7 books are the same as in that book. Ban: That's more confusing. Why would he write the same in all books and you're saying that they all started in the same way and ended in the same manner? Reiya: That is true but there is a reason for that. Ban: What is it? Reiya: The 7 books are enchanted. When the lords received their own book it was empty. There was nothing written in it at all.

I spoke to my people, “I’ll need three of you running the perimeter and two scouting the nearby woods with Cole. Report back anything unusual.” Yes, Chief. They all responded in unison through our telepathic bond. “I think with all this protection out here, the two of us would be able to handle the inside of the place alone. Come with me.” Nicolai gestured that I follow him. Hesitant for a moment, not wanting to anger him. I simply nodded and followed him into the colossal entryway. Greeting us with a thousand sparkling faces was a grand chandelier that hung directly overhead, the Grandeur staircase a picture of perfection just behind it.
