The title was etched in silver: The Royal Grimoire of Sacred Oaths. She opened it, her eyes skimming the ornate calligraphy, the intricate diagrams filled with arcane symbols.

I turned it to the side where there is no dirt and wipe the book using it. I saw a black cover with gold linings and designs. I touch the ribbons that are placed in some of the pages. There are symbols located at the bottom part of the cover, carved and painted in the color of gold, but I don’t understand what it means. I looked at the back but there were just designs. I tried opening it but there’s a metal lock on the side. Huh? Was this… a secret book? It kinda looked like a grimoire.

After saying that, Elaine quickly came back to her senses, and she blurted out, “The price of gold seems to be around four hundred dollars. So, this piece is only worth 400,000 dollars...” Charlie then took out another gold bar and stacked it on top of the previous one as he said, “It’s not like he only gave me one piece.” Elaine clapped her hands happily and said, “Oh!
