Thomas says, standing a few feet away. Hearing the man's name causes Melina's brain to recall his face. She couldn't believe she hadn't recognized him right away. "Thomas, thank God you're here." the man takes his arm away from Melina's neck. "I am willing to double the prize to 10 million dollars," Xiao Zhan says as he walks toward Thomas. Melina's eyes widened as she heard the prize that was just offered for her. "Is that so?" Thomas pulls a cigarette from his pocket and lights it up.

She couldn’t help feeling uneasy, knowing she couldn’t afford to send her child to such an elite school. "Caroline, Clayton is our grandson too," Mrs. Marly said gently. Her words immediately brought tears to Caroline’s eyes. She looked down, deeply moved by the kindness of Mrs. Marly and her husband. Their love for Clayton was as strong as if he were their biological grandson. "Come on, Grandma! Clayton wants to go in!" Clayton whined, unable to contain his excitement. Mrs. Marly got out of the car and opened the door for him. Clayton leaped out joyfully.

Next up was going to be Holden’s portion of the presentation, so it was going to be important for me to pay attention to the proposal and not the one who was making it.
