Seraphina’s POV She walked out of the house, her baby pink heels making a delicate click-click against the polished marble tiles. The sound echoed through the quiet hallway like a rhythmic declaration of war in disguise. Every step was precise, soft and feminine, yet heavy with purpose. Kaelion stood at the end of the corridor, dressed in a sleek black coat layered over a dark grey turtleneck, his usually stern face breaking into a look of visible awe. His golden eyes widened slightly, tracing the curve of her waist, the way her cropped cardigan hugged her delicately, revealing just a teasing glimpse of her midriff.

Lyra’s hands were shaking too, but her voice was calm, threading through the chaos. “You’re alright, love. I’ve got you. Stay with me.” Someone else was retching behind a broken cart. I kept walking. There was fucking chaos everywhere, but I couldn't cry or stop walking. Not because I didn’t care. But because if I let myself stop, I would sink. My sense of smell, my eyes seeing in the dark, and my sense of being around me if there is a presence close to me. I still don't feel weird until i was stranded in an alley with no one passing by and with only limited light. I smell something weird that is not normal for someone. I couldn’t help but shocked to realize that i wasn't just surrounded by a single creature. In my estimation they are at five.
