Chaos pushes forward as she fights to get him off us. I scream as his claws catch my arm and my blood is on fire. No, I will not let this happen. Chaos bursts forward as I’m shoved into the back of our mind. She is more feral as she rips the wolf to shreds. “RUN CHAOS!” I scream at her as she whimpers. Her legs are shaking. She has used too much strength to kill that wolf, we are literally fucked if anyone comes for us.

Fire glowed in his eyes. “Then you’ll have to silence the thousands who carry it now.” He walked out. They didn’t stop him. But his name was marked. The remnant met in a basement later that night. No longer thirty. Now over two hundred. Eliora stood at the center. “We need to decide. Stay quiet or go underground.” Mama Nkechi shook her head. “There is no underground. Not when the fire walks.” James looked at them all. “We don’t need buildings. We need boldness.”
