Karena penyakit yang diderita sang Ibu, Riyan dengan sangat harus sering mengunjungi Ibunda di rumah sakit. Saat kepulangannya dari rumah sakit itu, perhatian Riyan teralihkan pada kamar nomor 8. Dari balik pintu ia melihat seorang gadis yang terbaring lemah dengan banyaknya selang di tubuh.
