"Mind if I sit down?" "No, not at all." Travis walked around and sit on the bench opposite me. He took up the book that I rested on the table earlier and read the title out loud. "'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'." He looked up at me. "So, you like Harry Potter?" "Who doesn't?" I say with mock horror, crossing my arms in the process. He held up his palm in defence. "You're not getting any argument from me here." "Good," I said in the same playful, defensive tone.

It’s dangerous yet I find myself wanting those captivating eyes to never look away. It frightens me to my core and I panic. “My real name is Harry and I come from a hidden world known as Hogwarts. My grandmother is Gandalf.” I sound stupid, I’m so stupid. The fumbling words leave my mouth before I can control them. I expect confusion from him, or maybe he’d look at me like I am some weirdo, but…he laughs. He laughs out freely. The laughter stems deep from within him, rich with real cheerfulness. As always, I’m entranced by it. The wind picks up the sound fast, playing it in the air.

Those books themselves are only that our timezones are different” “But how did she get in there? Through the barrier in Kings Cross Railway Station?” I asked.

My heart clenched, a deep ache spreading through my ribs. No. Not now. Keep moving. But my body was slowing down. And the shadows were closing in. A clawed hand reached for me— I raised my head and squinting my eyes waiting for the attack when something snapped inside me. A rush of energy exploded through my veins and I could feel it all around me. My skin began to glow and my hair turned white flowing around me. The shadow in front of me hesitated. His claws stopped inches from my face. His eyes widened and he jumped back in fear.

Mr Collins instructs after he's finished his angry typing. “Reading what?” I ask. “That,” he points to a book that's on the couch where Theo had been sitting moments before. “What the…” I start to ask, then shake my head, “Right away, Professor Dumbledor,” I snark, picking up the book as he leaves the office. The book looks like a modern school textbook, but the title, ‘The Spark’ has me turning to the first page eagerly to finally get some freaking answers!

"One night, I couldn't take it anymore. I ran. I shifted into my wolf form—the first time I had ever shifted fully—and I ran into the forest." "Where did you go?" "Nowhere. Everywhere. I ran until I couldn't run anymore. And then I collapsed." He looked at me. "And then I found you." The memory returned in fragments: A hollow tree. A crying girl. Hm… might have to have a good long think on that one. Lena closed the book after finishing up the entry and put it back into its place in her desk drawer. She tugged the band out of her shoulder length brown hair, running her fingers through it. The young woman then moved over to her bed where on the nightstand, was a very worn copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. She got comfortable on her bed, picked up the book and started to read. She got through about 10 pages before there was a knock on her door. "Come in!" Lena called. She glanced at the door when it opened and fellow sorority sister, Casey Grant, walked in.
